Needs human review: I pushed a focused follow-up for the diagnostics exposed by the ty update. It removes an obsolete suppression, narrows optional Click parameter names before building defaults, records task-after metadata as UUIDs, and documents the local-path invariant at the normalization boundary. Validation: ty check passed; Ruff check/format passed; targeted tests completed with 139 passed, 5 skipped, 1 xfailed, and 6 xpassed (the partial run exits nonzero only because Syrupy reports four snapshots belonging to tests outside the selected subset as unused). |

Updated this PR to the current ty release, 0.0.65. Comparison with 0.0.49: the four earlier diagnostics remain resolved and none returned. Version 0.0.65 exposed four different diagnostics: three calls through the configurable DataCatalog node class, whose plugin-defined constructors intentionally vary, and one generic task-decorator return that ty cannot narrow to the declared intersection. Commit d765181 adds narrowly scoped, documented casts at those two dynamic boundaries and updates uv.lock. Validation: ty 0.0.65 passes, Ruff check/format passes, and tests/test_data_catalog.py plus tests/test_task_utils.py complete with 38 passed and 1 skipped. This remains ready for human review and is not queued for merge. |

A newer version of ty exists, but since this PR has been edited by someone other than Dependabot I haven't updated it. You'll get a PR for the updated version as normal once this PR is merged. |
