What support should we add?
Check on metadata to see if delete is supported for the tld?
It's not in for any of the other operations. Could be a good improvement to add it for all of them perhaps (RENEW, CREATE, TRANSFER).

Backend is merged.

That information is defined in the metadata imo, We don't know if and where the user of the API has a caching layer, so we shouldn't add an extra call in each possible function, this is something the user of the api should add themselves. (Or they have another source for this information, which can also happen.
