A line edit of the copy #31 and #32 added. It covers the /compare/ intro and the page-history, XTools, WikiBlame, Who Wrote That? and Refract rows, the retitled tutorial's lead, and the /mcp/ intro. Each change moves a clause next to the word it modifies or splits off a trailing phrase. No fact, source or claim changed.

Before and after

Where Before After
/mcp/ intro, also the meta description refract mcp starts a Model Context Protocol server over stdio that lets AI agents analyze page revision histories from Wikipedia or any MediaWiki API. refract mcp starts a stdio Model Context Protocol server that lets AI agents analyze page revision histories from Wikipedia or any MediaWiki API.
/compare/, WikiBlame Searches a page's revisions, by binary or linear search, for the one in which a given text was inserted or removed. Uses binary or linear search over a page's revisions to find the one in which a given text was inserted or removed.
/compare/, Who Wrote That? Browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that highlights who wrote each part of an article's current text, using WikiWho Browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that uses WikiWho to highlight who wrote each part of an article's current text
/compare/, edit wars Partly — undos, rollbacks and manual reverts are tagged, and so are the edits they revert; spotting back-and-forth is manual Partly — undos, rollbacks and manual reverts are tagged, as are the edits they revert; spotting back-and-forth is manual
Tutorial Goal, also the meta description Use Refract to analyze … and what kind of change it was — all deterministically, byte-for-byte reproducible. Use Refract to analyze … and what kind of change it was. (new paragraph) The analysis is deterministic, and its output is reproducible byte for byte.

In the MCP intro, the relative clause "that lets AI agents…" had attached to "stdio". The tutorial's meta description used to be cut at "— all…". It is now the whole first sentence (135 characters).

Clause patterns in the in-scope text

These counts were taken by hand. A regex pass also flags "Who Wrote That?" as a wh-clause twice, and "what changed, when, and what kind of change it was" once. Neither is the pattern: the first is a product name, and the second is a list made only of clauses.

Pattern Before After
Relative clause on the wrong noun ("server over stdio that lets…") 1 0
Modifier interrupting a verb and its object (", by binary or linear search,") 1 0
Participial tail (", using WikiWho") 1 0
Trailing absolute phrase ("— all deterministically, byte-for-byte reproducible") 1 0
", and so are…" join inside a cell that already has a semicolon 1 0
Wh-clause stapled to a noun phrase; ", which/where" tails; sentences over 30 words 0 0

Checks

  • npm run lint: no errors. The 3 warnings are the existing noDescendingSpecificity ones in assets/style.css, a file this PR does not touch.
  • npm test: 4 files, 103 tests passed.
  • npm run build: 53 pages built.
  • Meta descriptions after the build: /mcp/ 145 characters, /compare/ 142, /tutorials/wikipedia-history/ 135. None is cut.

Left alone

  • The intro's Refract bullet keeps its parenthetical list, "(sentences, citations, templates, reverts, sections)". That list is the clearest way to name the event families.
  • Each tool row's "Refract's difference" cell restates the contrast for that tool. In a comparison table, that repetition is structural.
  • The WikiWho, WhoColor, Wikimedia Enterprise, MediaWiki API and Internet Archive rows that feat(seo): Open Graph card, trailing-slash links, search-language titles #31 also rewrote are outside the rows named for this pass.

…lead

- compare: WikiBlame's "Searches a page's revisions, by binary or linear
search, for the one…" split its verb from its object; it now reads
"Uses binary or linear search over a page's revisions to find the
one…". Who Wrote That?'s trailing ", using WikiWho" moves into the
verb ("uses WikiWho to highlight…"). The edit-wars cell's ", and so
are the edits they revert" becomes ", as are…".
- mcp: "a Model Context Protocol server over stdio that lets AI agents…"
hung the relative clause on "stdio". It now says "a stdio Model
Context Protocol server that lets…". The meta description is 145
  characters.
- tutorials/wikipedia-history: the Goal paragraph ended "— all
deterministically, byte-for-byte reproducible", and its meta
description was cut at "— all…". The goal is now its own paragraph
and the description; determinism and reproducibility are the next.
