I would like to ask that, would you be open to adding a small stable C API together with a Fortran 2008 interface based on ISO_C_BINDING? This could make libecpint easier to adopt in Fortran-based electronic-structure codes, such as CP2K. A minimal language-neutral API covering the core functionality might already be sufficient.
