Installation
Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later · Apple Silicon and Intel (universal binary).
brew install --cask roypadina/tap/maccyplusDownload the .zip from the latest release, unzip, and move MaccyPlus.app to /Applications.
MaccyPlus is self-signed, not notarized, so macOS blocks it the first time. Open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway (macOS 15 and later; right-click → Open no longer works there), or clear the quarantine flag:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/MaccyPlus.app"It is a menu bar app (no Dock icon). On first launch a Welcome window explains the menu bar icon and has an Open at Login switch and an Allow Accessibility… button. Accessibility is only needed to paste; copying works without it. Open the window again from About → Welcome Guide…. See Permissions.
git clone https://github.com/roypadina/maccyplus.git
cd maccyplus
xcodebuild build -project Maccy.xcodeproj -scheme Maccy -destination 'platform=macOS'The default build is signed ad hoc ("Sign to Run Locally"), so no signing identity or Apple Developer account is needed. Scripts/build-release.sh makes a universal build and build/MaccyPlus.zip; set MACCYPLUS_SIGN_IDENTITY to re-sign it with your own certificate (keeps the Accessibility grant across rebuilds).
Tests: xcodebuild test -project Maccy.xcodeproj -scheme Maccy -destination 'platform=macOS'. The project does not use Xcode synchronized file groups, so a new .swift file must be added to Maccy.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj by hand.
