Problem
Individual missions provide direction, but developers may still lack lightweight social accountability to finish a meaningful contribution.
Proposed solution
Offer opt-in circles of 3-5 developers with compatible goals. Members choose one weekly contribution intention and share bounded progress states.
Acceptance criteria
- Joining, goals, and visibility are explicit and reversible.
- Matching uses declared language, time budget, and goal; never private behavior inference.
- Progress states are supportive and do not expose failure streaks or rank members.
- Circles have inactivity expiry, reporting, blocking, and safe exit controls.
- No direct contact information is exposed.
- Track weekly intention, useful check-ins, verified completion, and four-week retention.
Success metric
Four-week retained contributors completing meaningful actions, not message volume.
