- Integrate monte_carlo.cpp from PR #1 (BER sweep, FER statistics, CSV/JSON export) - Update CMakeLists.txt with monte_carlo_sim target and smoke test - Update CI workflow to run Monte-Carlo simulation and upload fer_curve.csv artifact - Replace minimal README with comprehensive scientific documentation (20 improvements) - Add PERFORMANCE.md with FER analysis, latency benchmark results, and reproducibility guide Co-authored-by: sparkainlp-x <281253927+sparkainlp-x@users.noreply.github.com>
- Add StdError, CI95Low, CI95High columns to CSV output to match JSON format - Warn and update result.ber when input BER is clamped to simulation range - Update PERFORMANCE.md to reflect new CSV schema Co-authored-by: sparkainlp-x <281253927+sparkainlp-x@users.noreply.github.com>

Review against CLAIM_HYGIENE before this can merge:
Leaving this open until those points are addressed. |

Closing as stale. This draft predates the current claim-hygiene scope (SYNTHETIC / REPORTED / TARGET / UNRUN tags). Any Monte-Carlo FER work can be reopened as a fresh PR with evidence tags. The branch is backed up. |

Implements a Monte-Carlo FER simulation pipeline, integrates the code from PR #1, and replaces the minimal French README with full scientific documentation. Also adds a
PERFORMANCE.mdbenchmark report.Monte-Carlo FER simulator (
monte_carlo.cpp)BER,FER,FramesAtBER,ErrorsAtBER,StdError,CI95Low,CI95High,Timestamp) and optional JSONresult.berwhen input BER is clamped to[1e-6, 0.49]Build & CI
CMakeLists.txt: addsBUILD_MONTE_CARLO_SIMoption (defaultON),monte_carlo_simtarget, and a CTest smoke testci.yml:software-cijob now runs the FER simulation and uploadsfer_curve.csvas theqldpc-fer-curveartifactREADME (20 improvements)
Rewrites the minimal README in English with: scope statement, research objectives, potential applications, 5-layer system architecture, repository structure table, current vs. planned capabilities, validation status table, benchmark interpretation guidance, limitations, reproducibility checklist, roadmap, market positioning, intended users, and scientific/commercial project descriptions.
PERFORMANCE.md (new)
Documents benchmark results: latency statistics (~187 ns median, ~215 ns p95 vs. 1 µs CI gate), FER curve data table with 95% CIs, statistical methodology (Wald interval), hardware vs. software comparison, and full reproducibility commands.
