The regex checking GitHub links in registry files was passed directly as a literal to `[[ =~ ]]`. Its bracket expression `[^/) ]` contains a `)`, which bash's own paren-counting for `[[ ]]` word boundaries misreads as a stray closing paren, causing a bash syntax error and failing the check regardless of file content. Move the pattern into `$REPO_PATTERN` first so bash treats it as an opaque variable expansion instead of counting parentheses in it directly.
The "at least one link" check only matched the bold-label convention (`**Label:** https://...`), rejecting entries that use standard markdown links (`[text](https://...)`) instead—even though the repo-existence check right after it already extracts and validates URLs from either style fine. Widen the check to also accept `](https://...)`, so registry entries aren't forced into one specific link style.
