Bug app #833
Description
What happened?
Hi support team,
I am experiencing persistent playback issues when using your app on my Apple TV. While most channels work fine, certain channels (specifically sports channels) consistently fail to play using the default player engines, resulting in a black screen with a red dot, or severe stuttering and audio desync.
The streams only work properly when I switch the player engine to "Metal" (hardware-accelerated rendering). However, I would like to know why the default decoders fail to handle these specific streams, as other apps handle the exact same content without any issues.
Could you please look into this or advise if there is a known fix/setting configuration to resolve this across all player engines?

Thanks for the report. A few things in it don't match Sodalite, so I want to make sure this landed in the right place:
If this really is Sodalite, please add:
Without these I can't reproduce anything, so I'll keep this open as needs-info for now.
