Summary

  • Fourteen in-range minor/patch bumps. No majors — the thirteen available are listed below and stay for their own PRs.
  • The Payload family is realigned to 3.92.1 and now tracks by range, so the lockfile carries one @payloadcms/live-preview.

Change outline

Contract — what resolves after pnpm install

Runtime:

-  @marsidev/react-turnstile   1.6.2   → 1.6.3
-  @payloadcms/live-preview    3.91.0  → 3.92.1
-  @payloadcms/live-preview-react 3.91.0 → 3.92.1
-  @payloadcms/richtext-lexical 3.91.0 → 3.92.1
-  @payloadcms/sdk             3.91.0  → 3.92.1
-  hls.js                      1.7.3   → 1.7.4
-  hono                        4.13.13 → 4.13.16
-  react-hook-form             7.90.0  → 7.91.0
-  vike-react                  0.6.30  → 0.6.32
-  yet-another-react-lightbox  3.32.2  → 3.33.0
+ all routine, all inside the declared caret range

Dev:

-  @cloudflare/workers-types   5.20261019.1 → 5.20261102.1
-  globals                     17.13.0 → 17.14.0
-  typescript-eslint           8.71.2  → 8.72.1
-  wrangler                    4.151.1 → 4.156.1

Transitive — the rest of what the lockfile moves

The declared list above is 14 names. The lockfile moves 142 package names, adds one
(@rollup/rollup-android-x64@4.67.4, a new rollup platform binary) and drops none. Most of the
142 are per-platform binaries of a package already named here. These are the ones that build and
serve the Worker, none of them declared:

  # Worker runtime
-  workerd                     1.20261012.1 → 1.20261101.1   # under wrangler
-  miniflare                   5.20261012.{0,1}-beta → 5.20261101.0-beta
-  @cloudflare/vite-plugin     1.64.0  → 1.67.0

  # Bundling
-  rollup                      4.64.10 → 4.67.4
-  rolldown                    1.2.14  → 1.2.16
-  vite                        6.4.4   → 6.4.5    # transitive copy; the direct one stays 7.3.7
-  @swc/core                   1.16.18 → 1.16.21
-  postcss                     8.5.31  → 8.5.32

  # Server render and routing
-  react-streaming             0.4.21  → 0.4.24   # under vike-react, owns the SSR stream
-  srvx                        1.0.6   → 1.0.8
-  @universal-middleware/core  0.7.1   → 0.7.2
-  set-cookie-parser           3.1.4   → 3.2.2
-  on-finished                 2.4.1   → 2.4.2

  # Payload, pulled by the declared family
-  payload                     3.91.0  → 3.92.1
-  @payloadcms/ui              3.91.0  → 3.92.1
-  @payloadcms/translations    3.91.0  → 3.92.1

  # Rich-text rendering
-  hast-util-to-jsx-runtime    2.3.6   → 2.3.7
-  hast-util-from-parse5       8.0.3   → 8.0.4
-  hastscript                  9.0.1   → 9.0.3
-  mdast-util-to-markdown      2.2.0   → 2.2.1
-  mdast-util-find-and-replace 3.0.3   → 3.0.4
-  unist-util-visit            5.1.0   → 5.2.0

Duplicate counts move both ways. miniflare collapses from two copies to one. Three packages
gain a second copy: style-to-object (1.0.14, now also 2.0.2), inline-style-parser (0.2.7, now
also 0.2.9) and ws (8.21.0 and 8.22.0, now also 8.22.1). All three are dev or build-time, not
client bundle.

Files — the one hand edit

Everything above is pnpm update inside the declared ranges. This line is not:

 package.json
-  "@payloadcms/live-preview-react": "3.91.0"   # exact pin, no stated reason
+ "@payloadcms/live-preview-react": "^3.92.1" # same range as its three siblings

live-preview-react arrived exact-pinned in cf7e088, this repo's initial import (merged as
#120), while live-preview, richtext-lexical and sdk all arrived caret. git log -S on that
key gives that commit alone — no commit, issue or comment states a reason. While the siblings sat
at 3.91.0 the pin was invisible. Once @payloadcms/live-preview moved by range, the pin split the
tree:

 pnpm-lock.yaml
- '@payloadcms/live-preview@3.91.0' # pulled in by the react wrapper
-  '@payloadcms/live-preview@3.92.1'   # the direct dependency
+  '@payloadcms/live-preview@3.92.1'   # one copy

Two copies of a client-side package is a bundle cost and a behaviour risk, so the family moves as a
family — and by range, not by a hand-maintained pin, so the next routine run does not have to
re-make this edit. live-preview-react@3.92.1 depends on exactly live-preview@3.92.1, which is
what collapses the tree. Its react peer range admits ^19.2.1; this repo is on 19.3.1.

Preview

Branch alias, rebuilt on each push:

Checked on c2d265f: / 200 with <h1>Meditate for Better Mental Health</h1>, /about-meditation
200, /en and /index both 301 to /. vike-react and hono still render and route.

  • Data: N/A — no change here depends on preview content. The value of the preview on this PR is that the home page still renders at all.

Test results

  • Lean gate: ✓ .claude/skills/pr-prep/check.sh on 2e9c8f9 — lint (0 errors, 2137 pre-existing warnings), tsc --noEmit, vitest run: 91 files, 921 tests passed.
  • Targeted specs: none beyond the suite — no source file changed.
  • Build: ✓ pnpm build on 2e9c8f9. ✓ pnpm check:wrangler after pnpm ladle:build on c2d265f; 2e9c8f9 moves no resolved version, only a specifier, so the Worker config is unchanged.

Manual verification

  1. Open the home page and one content page on the branch alias and confirm they render — vike-react and hono both moved, and they own the server render.

Notes for reviewer

  • The pin is dropped, not bumped. If @payloadcms/live-preview-react was deliberately pinned exact and the reason never got written down, say so: the fix is then a comment on that line plus holding the whole Payload family at 3.91.0, because a lone pin gives a split tree, not a pinned one.
  • Four links on the preview home page 404: /app, /classes, /live and /meditations. Pre-existing, CMS content, already tracked in fix(pages): repoint 39 legacy wemeditate content links to site paths #194. Not this PR.
  • No /simplify or /code-review pass: the diff is package.json plus the lockfile, with no code to review.
  • Security review skipped — the diff matches none of securityReview.triggerPattern.
  • Smoke lane left to CI, as the testing rules say.
Detail

Majors available, deliberately not taken. The skill batches minors and patches only; a major
gets its own PR and its changelog read.

Package From To
@eslint/js 9.39.5 10.0.1
eslint 9.39.5 10.14.0
@hookform/resolvers 5.9.2 7.0.1
@sentry/cloudflare 10.76.2 11.10.0
@sentry/react 10.76.2 11.10.0
@sentry/vite-plugin 4.9.1 11.10.0
@types/node 22.20.5 26.6.6
@vitejs/plugin-react 5.2.0 6.2.0
@vitest/ui 4.1.12 5.0.5
vitest 4.1.12 5.0.5
jose 5.10.0 6.2.15
typescript 5.9.3 7.0.2
vite 7.3.7 8.3.5

The three Sentry packages and the eslint pair each have to move together, so each group is one PR,
not one per package.

The lint warning count (2137, all style, 0 errors) is unchanged by this PR — prettier did not move.

Fourteen in-range bumps, no majors. The Payload family moves together to
3.92.1: live-preview, richtext-lexical and sdk by range, and
live-preview-react by hand.

live-preview-react was pinned exact at 3.91.0 with no stated reason, added
that way in #120. Leaving it behind while its sibling moved put two copies
of @payloadcms/live-preview in the lockfile — 3.91.0 under the react
wrapper and 3.92.1 direct — and so in the client bundle. 3.92.1 of the
wrapper depends on exactly 3.92.1 of the base, which collapses the tree
back to one copy. Its react peer range admits ^19.2.1, which this repo's
19.3.1 satisfies.

wrangler 4.151.1 → 4.156.1 is the one bump a lean gate cannot see, so
check:wrangler ran against the design config, and pnpm build ran too:
both green.

🧐 Adversarial review

This PR is the size of its problem: 14 in-range bumps, one hand edit, no product code. The de-duplication is real and verified — the new lockfile carries one @payloadcms/live-preview@3.92.1, and live-preview-react@3.92.1 depends on exactly 3.92.1. miniflare collapsed from two copies to one too, unclaimed.

Two things give way. The hand edit fixes today's split and keeps the pin that caused it, so the next routine run splits the tree again and writes the same line. And the stated install contract covers 14 of 85 moved packages, leaving workerd, @cloudflare/vite-plugin, miniflare, rollup and react-streaming unnamed — the set most able to break the Worker.

Not this PR, filed separately: four home-page links 404 on its own preview.

Findings

  • should-fix — package.json:32: the pin is bumped, not dropped. The split recurs next run.
  • should-fix — pnpm-lock.yaml: the outline names 14 of 85 moved packages.

What was checked

  • Preview, the body's own manual verification, run against the branch alias: / 200 with <h1>Meditate for Better Mental Health</h1>, /about-meditation 200, /en and /index both 301 to /. vike-react and hono still render and route.
  • Lockfile, both package sets compared: 1781 → 1785 entries, one new name (@rollup/rollup-android-x64), none dropped.
  • Ladder: no file, hook, type or dependency added.
  • Contracts: server/payload-types.ts and pnpm.overrides untouched, so the types:cms producer path is unaffected.
  • Pin provenance: git log -S on that key gives cf7e088 alone, the initial import.
  • The 404s: /app, /classes, /live and /meditations are linked from the preview home page, and GET /api/pages?where[slug][equals]=… answers totalDocs: 0 for all four. Pre-existing.
  • Reviewer profile read.

Correction to the review above: the four 404 links are already filed, not filed separately. /app, /classes, /live and /meditations all answer 200 on legacy wemeditate.com and come from CMS content, which is #194. No new ticket.

Bumping the pin to 3.92.1 collapsed today's split tree but left the
mechanism that split it. The next time @payloadcms/live-preview moves by
range, the exact pin stays behind and the tree splits again — the same
hand edit on every routine run.

Nothing holds the pin. `git log -S` on that key gives cf7e088 alone, the
repo's initial import, where live-preview-react arrived exact while
live-preview, richtext-lexical and sdk all arrived caret. No commit, issue
or comment states a reason.

^3.92.1 puts the wrapper on the same footing as its three siblings. It
still resolves to 3.92.1 today, which depends on exactly
live-preview@3.92.1, so the lockfile keeps the single copy.

Both adversarial-review findings adopted. Pushed 2e9c8f9.

  • package.json:32 — the pin is dropped, not bumped: ^3.92.1, the same range as its three siblings. The tree stays single-copy and the next routine run does not re-make the edit.
  • pnpm-lock.yaml — the outline gained a ### Transitive view naming the runtime and build movers: workerd, miniflare, @cloudflare/vite-plugin, rollup, rolldown, react-streaming, srvx, payload and the rich-text chain.

Nothing rebutted, nothing asked. The branch already sits on origin/main@38212a4, so no merge was needed.

Lean gate ✓ and pnpm build ✓ on 2e9c8f9. The body's Preview section now carries the branch-alias links, and its 404 note points at #194.
