feat: Add unstressed-vowel reduction with configurable targets - #2
Merged
Merged
Conversation
Unstressed syllables now reduce with a configured probability, either collapsing every vowel to a single target (English-style schwa) or mapping specific vowels per a targets table (Catalan/Russian-style). Reduction requires stress assignment, so a reduction section without any stress configuration is a validation error. Also make secondary stress foot-aware: it now falls on alternating syllables sharing the primary's parity, so iambic words parse into weak-strong feet instead of clashing with the primary. Stress documentation moves from the grammar page to its own page, ordered before vowel reduction, which depends on it.
