A Forge 1.20.1 compatibility patch for:
- Create 0.5.1.f
- Quality of Progression 1.3
Quality of Progression checks minecraft:mineable/axe and
minecraft:mineable/pickaxe independently.
Create intentionally places a number of blocks in both tags. This causes a conflict where an axe can be rejected by the pickaxe check, while a pickaxe can be rejected by the axe check.
Andesite Casings and Water Wheels are examples of blocks affected by this behavior.
The compatibility mixin applies only when all of the following are true:
- The block belongs to the
createnamespace. - The block is in both
minecraft:mineable/axeandminecraft:mineable/pickaxe. - The held tool provides Forge
AXE_DIGorPICKAXE_DIG.
This allows Create blocks with intentional dual-tool support to be mined with either valid tool without changing Quality of Progression's behavior for unrelated blocks.
Natural Progression's tool-tier restrictions are not bypassed by this patch.
The compatibility check was expanded from Create casings to all Create blocks that use both the axe and pickaxe mining tags.
Create 0.5.1.f contains 78 blocks using this dual-tool tagging pattern.
