Maybe one underlying issue here: exiting the GUI only saves the Supermodel.ini in some instances, for example on Unix/Wayland only clicking "Exit" will prompt for the configuration to be saved. If you have launched a game and you exit the emulator (not just the game) from FullScreen, config settings are likely not saved and if they are also not present in Supermodel.ini (for whatever reason) no default config value will be added. FullScreen, XResolution, YResolution are also all runtime config settings, so it would be good to clarify if you expect the runtime toggles to be persisting to Supermodel.ini not just the config setting itself.

@B-Nerd What's preventing you from adding those lines yourself? The Supermodel.ini file is basically just a text file you can edit with any text editor like Notepad.

im guessing you're on wayland, afaik it doesn't play well with that

but weirdly it starts the gui just not the game & those 3 lines are the ones it does not save
& for wayland i found my way to launch this

If you're forcing it through the xwayland layer and it still doesn't fully work then it looks like linux users are screwed.

At this point you need a serious linux dev to maintain their own fork

my wayland fix is WAYLAND_DISPLAY=""
but that should not the reason why 3 lines would not be created but only on linux
