Facets: refuse IDs that differ only in first-letter case - #243
Conversation
A facet value is read by its facet ID or, when the payload has no such key, by the camel-case form (first letter lower-cased), so an aspect declaring both Name and name reads either facet from the other's key on the server, in queries and in index projections. FacetMetadataValidator, which both registration methods of every definition store and aspect definition store already run, now refuses two facets of one aspect (inline or shared) whose IDs are equal under the resolver's camel-case rule, reusing AspectFacetValueResolver's ToCamelCase. Each facet involved gets a facet-metadata-id-case-collision diagnostic (FacetMetadataDiagnosticCodes.IdCaseCollision) in the existing FacetMetadataValidationException, which Aster.AspNetCore and Aster.Elsa already map. Typed aspects with Name and name properties now fail registration the same way. The check runs at registration only: definitions and aspect definitions stored before, or imported from a snapshot, keep loading, and their resources stay readable and updatable. The fixture contains distinct
Nameandnamevalues, but the test only checks that the read is non-null and that the update reaches version 2. A regression that drops or merges either value can pass these assertions. Assert both values after the read and after the update.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

Closes #240. Program #58.
Problem
AspectFacetValueResolverreads a facet value by its ID, or by its camelCase form when the payload has no such key. That fallback is how typed aspects are stored (Title→title). An aspect that declares bothNameandnameis therefore ambiguous: both facets read whichever of the two keys is stored. This affects reads, queries and index projections. #236 made the Studio form keep each facet on its own key, but the server-side lookup stayed ambiguous.Change
AddIdCaseCollisionsstep inFacetMetadataValidator. Two facets of one aspect whose IDs camelCase to the same string are refused with the new diagnostic codefacet-metadata-id-case-collision, reported once for each facet in the pair.AspectFacetValueResolver.ToCamelCase(now internal), so registration and lookup can't drift apart.RegisterandRegisterIfLatest, inline, shared and typed aspects.Aster.AspNetCoreandAster.Elsamap facet-metadata diagnostics generically.Tests

The 4 that pass are the "accepted" cases, which pass either way.Aster.Tests: 1957/1957 on net8.0, net9.0 and net10.0.Aster.Elsa.Agents.Tests(introduced in Elsa agents: keep references to deleted agents saveable; refuse saves to deleted agents #235).
