Installation

Option 1: Quick Install (Chrome / Microsoft Edge / Brave)

1. Download the latest mapso-chrome-v*.zip from Releases.
2. Unzip the downloaded file.
3. Open your browser's extension page:
   • Chrome / Brave: chrome://extensions
   • Microsoft Edge: edge://extensions
4. Toggle Developer mode on (top-right in Chrome, left sidebar in Edge).
5. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
6. Pin Maps Place Extractor to your browser toolbar.

Option 2: Firefox

1. Download mapso-firefox-v*.zip from Releases.
2. Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox in Firefox.
3. Click Load Temporary Add-on… and select manifest.json from the unzipped folder.

How to Use Google Maps Extractor

1. Navigate to Google Maps.
2. Enter your search query (e.g., "Plumbers in Chicago", "Dentists in London", or "Restaurants in Tokyo").
3. Scroll through the left results panel to load visible listings.
4. Click the Maps Place Extractor icon in your toolbar to view the live captured places.
5. Click Export CSV (for Excel/Google Sheets) or Export JSON.
6. The extension automatically fetches missing contact numbers before triggering your download.
