Summary

Engineers using Forge in separate clones or worktrees can see teammates' tasks, reserve paths and hand off work through an opt-in Git board. Conflicting claims cannot both succeed; interrupted publications remain recoverable.

  • Share committed plans with team prepare; each checkout keeps private progress and verification. Independent sections share one immutable contract, while edits and mixed revisions conflict with active readers.
  • Protect prepared contracts from portable path collisions and authoring commands. Diagnose ignored discovery files before publication.
  • Preserve pending work across checkout moves and interrupted identity migration. Retain prepared source commits through history rewriting; recover older or relocated plans without rewriting previous evidence.
  • Reclaim completed bookkeeping while protecting live work and receipts. Return usable task-binding choices and an explicit handoff-resume command. Share adjacent plan validation while retaining fresh execution checks.
  • Updated README, collaboration guide and all five skills for every depth in Codex and Claude Code. Existing Git access; no new runtime dependency or service.

Validation

All six CI jobs passed for 72c99a5, with an identical reviewed/CI tree. The full suite passed 2,689 tests, with 3 skips; Linux, macOS, both Windows groups and native Codex/Claude discovery checks passed. Local checks progressed from 314 affected-module passes to 89 final workflow/source-identity passes. The unchanged 91-test preservation suite passed before and after. Independent review and public-command probes resolved the reported findings. Runtime/package integrity, strict doctor and all 13 release checks pass.

A retained two-section fixture used fewer Git processes: plan check 35→26, setup 165→136, next-section 105→92. These are local process counts, not a general speed or model-quality claim.

Reservations coordinate participating clients; external editors remain unlocked and shared contracts require normal Git synchronization. Authenticated multi-user model acceptance remains unverified; detached frozen execution uses external team checks. No merge, release or real-plugin installation.

Resolve path prefixes strictly and read Git paths as UTF-8 so loops and locale differences cannot bypass reservations.
