Superseded by internal PR #57, which carries the libVLC integrity fix on current upstream base
9be10e12d0f04655f2f134718b00679f89b2b15f, strengthens the old version with fail-closed missing-digest behavior before HTTP plus valid-file/non-seekable regressions, reconfirms the published Windows/macOS digests, and passes restore/build/full-suite CI on the first run (#34706868169). This draft is retained only as historical evidence and must not be merged.
