Supersedes Dependabot's #49, #54, #57 and #58, which had waited up to seven months and were based on an older build_addon.yml: - actions/checkout 4 -> 7 - actions/setup-python 5 -> 7 - actions/upload-artifact 4 -> 7 - actions/download-artifact 4 -> 8 - softprops/action-gh-release 2 -> 3 The breaking changes don't affect this workflow: the path change in download-artifact applies to downloads by ID (this one downloads by name), v8 now fails on a corrupted download instead of warning, and the other majors move to the Node 24 runtime that GitHub-hosted runners provide. Dependabot now groups every action update into a single pull request, major ones included, instead of grouping only minor and patch updates. Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
