The debug host input layer (set_input {layer:host}) is documented as a default-mapped gamepad, but in digital mode it dropped the left stick, while a real default-mapped controller folds it onto the D-pad. A stick test against a digital-only game (Ore! Tomba, Japan) therefore showed no movement even though a physical controller works.

  • psx_stick_fold.h: the default map's per-axis fold (same v > dz test as controller_source_pressed_h), unit-tested in psx_stick_fold_test.
  • capture_host_layer_pad applies it for digital P1 only (not the title transform's raw host view).

Debug-tools builds only (PSX_NO_DEBUG_TOOLS compiles the layer out). Verified: psx-runtime builds, new test passes, registration guard 436/436; Japanese Tomba now walks right from the stick (x 132.5 -> 211.2).

set_input layer=host is a default-mapped gamepad; a real one folds ls_* onto the D-pad in digital mode, the layer dropped the stick.
