Written by Wren, a Commonly agent (TASK-015).

Tier 1 copy fix for the landing pricing section. The Pricing section was walked against main at 75d80918e. The branch is rebased on main at 2c8956100. The PR removes the claims the code does not back and scopes the two that held only in part.

Changed (en and zh-CN)

  • Pro hosted item: "10 hosted agent seats (coming soon)" is now "Hosted agents: 200 turns a day per agent, against 30 on Cloud free". Hosted agents are live, with 1 agent per user on every plan (backend/services/hostedRuntimeService.ts:36,58), so the seat count and "coming soon" were both false.
  • SSO/SAML and federation: copy(landing): Enterprise strip marks SSO/SAML planned, drops federation #2856 (bafad4060) already changed both on main. This PR keeps main's "SSO/SAML is planned" (en.json:1021, zh-CN.json:1020), and the guard allows that phrase and no other SSO/SAML copy. Federation is cross-pod inside one instance (backend/server.ts:271, backend/services/federationService.ts:1-5).
  • "30 days of message history" is now "Up to 30 days". It is a ceiling: disk pressure steps retention down (backend/services/pgRetentionService.ts:47,51,267-296).
  • Pro sub line: "Pro adds hosted agents" is now "a higher hosted-agent turn cap". Cloud free gets hosted agents too, and the plan changes only the turn cap (backend/services/hostedRuntimeService.ts:58-61). "Pro adds unlimited history" is now "unlimited history in pods you create", because the pod's creator governs retention, not any member (backend/services/pgRetentionService.ts:125-150,166).

Verdict rows are in docs/audits/claim-table.md, Pricing section. Tests: pricing-copy-invariants and zhNumberUnitSpacing pass under npx jest (23 tests). The guard covers the scoped history line and the planned-SSO wording.

Verified, unchanged

  • Community listing needs Pro for non-admin creators (backend/routes/pods.ts:768-770, 402 pro_required).

Not verified, unchanged (GTM owns the wording)

  • "$12" per human (en.json:1008) and "Flat $12 per human" (en.json:1023). The Stripe price was not checked here. This needs a logged-in walk.
  • "No credit card" (en.json:1003). The signup walk was not done.
  • "Connect via webhook, CLI wrapper, or MCP" (en.json:1002). The driver citations are still open.
  • "agents you bring connect free and unlimited ... forever", "Never per agent", and "free forever" (en.json:981, :1023), and "SLAs" (en.json:1021).

Dead keys: already removed on main

billing.proNote and billing.freeNote were removed from the en and zh-CN catalogs by #2821 (6612330b4). Claim-table rows 141–142 record it. This PR changes neither. The zhNumberUnitSpacing test still names billing.freeNote at line 256 as a fixture string.

Before merge

  • GTM reviews the zh-CN wording. The zh copy is a draft.
  • A 390 and 1440 walk of the landing pricing section, by someone other than the author (Tier 1).
  • A seat gate on the copy and test change.
  • Merge is held for the lead's press.

Explanation

The title names the main change: removing pricing-landing claims that the code does not support. It also names the scope (pricing) and the ticket. The title is specific and matches the changeset (en.json, zh-CN.json, claim table, and invariant tests all change pricing copy to remove or narrow unsupported claims). The title is 70 characters, which is within a typical length range for a commit subject.

Full details: Description check

Explanation

The description is detailed and directly related to the changeset. It explains the removal of the 10 hosted-agent seats claim, the narrowing of the 30-day history line to 'Up to 30 days', the scoping of unlimited history to pods the user creates, and the Pro turn-cap wording. It also lists the tests run, the claim-table location, and the claims left unverified. It describes the same en and zh-CN copy edits found in the raw summary.

Assert the hosted-agent allowances in both locales.

The current test only rejects the removed wording. It does not read landing.pricing.pro.items.hosted, so changing either 200 or 30 leaves the test green.

GTM zh-CN review of the four changed zh-CN.json strings against the zh-cn-ui-localization glossary, at 25ff507. I did the terminology pass and the voice pass, then reconciled them.

Verdict: OK to press. Every locked term is correct: 智能体, Pod with half-width spaces, 云端免费版 for Cloud free, SLA kept in English with a space on each side. No 您 and no banned calques. Each string says the same thing as its new English line. The two items below are optional polish and shouldn't block.

key as written suggestion why
记录 stacks nominal phrases (a 翻译腔 tell). 轮次 reads more naturally than 轮数 for a per-day turn cap.
pricing.cloud.items.history 最长30天消息历史 消息历史最长保留30天 It reads as a promise of a ceiling, which matches the claim-table's "Up to". The original works too.

The hosted and enterprise strings are fine as written. 每个智能体每天200轮,云端免费版为30轮 keeps the per-agent scope that the claim table depends on.

Out of scope here, and already in main before this PR: pricing.pro.items.everything still says "Cloud free" in English (包含 Cloud free 的全部功能). The glossary calls for 云端免费版, which your new hosted string uses. Worth fixing in a later locale pass.

Use one audited commit for the pricing evidence.

The table states main at a529ed934, while the PR description identifies a68a49cf5 as the audited commit. Identify which revision supplied the evidence. If it was a68a49cf5, regenerate the file:line citations against that revision; otherwise align the PR description with a529ed934.

Add regression assertions for the hosted-agent cap.

The invariant test rejects the old hosted-seat wording but does not assert 200 versus 30 for either locale. A revert of the hosted-agent wording can therefore pass the existing test.

Walked the Pricing section against main and removed or scoped the claims
the code does not back:
- "10 hosted agent seats" and "coming soon": the default is 1 hosted agent
per user on every plan, and hosted agents are live.
- "SSO/SAML" and "federation across instances": #2856 (bafad40)
already changed both in the pricing copy on main. There is no SSO
code, and federation is cross-pod inside one instance.
- "30 days of message history" is a ceiling, not a guarantee.
- "Pro adds hosted agents": Cloud free gets hosted agents too. Pro gets a
higher turn cap (200 vs 30 a day per agent).
- "Pro adds unlimited history" now says "in pods you create": the pod's
creator governs retention, not any member.

The enterprise line keeps main's "SSO/SAML is planned" (#2856). The guard
allows that phrase and no other SSO/SAML copy.

Adds guard tests for the scoped history line and the hosted-agent turn
caps (200 and 30 a day per agent, both locales), and Pricing verdict rows
in docs/audits/claim-table.md. The zh-CN wording is a draft for GTM review.

Test the Pro history card’s creator scope.

This test reads only pricing.sub. The changed pricing.pro.items.history also promises unlimited history in pods the buyer creates. Restoring the old, unscoped card text in either locale would leave this test green. Assert the creator scope in both card strings. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Test the Pro subline’s turn-cap distinction.

D138 Opus gate at c8fb5a2. I checked each changed sentence against the enforcing code at this head.

(1) Hosted turns: "200 turns a day per agent, against 30 on Cloud free", and Cloud free can run a hosted agent.

  • hostedCaps({pro}) (hostedRuntimeService.ts:57-62) returns DEFAULT_TURNS_PER_DAY_PRO = 200 on Pro and DEFAULT_TURNS_PER_DAY = 30 otherwise. Pro is entitlements.pro.
  • Both turn paths enforce it per agent per UTC day against the owner's plan:
    • the events feed: agentsRuntime.ts:649-650, hostedCapsForOwner(installation.installedBy) → meterAllowsTurn(agentName, instanceId, turnsPerDay), counting acked events by deliveredAt;
    • the native engine: hosted.ts:403-404, the same call with countRuns.
  • Provisioning (hosted.ts:236-263) checks only agentsPerUser (1, plan-independent). No Pro check sits on that path, so a Cloud free account can run one hosted agent at 30 turns a day.
  • The sub's "a higher hosted-agent turn cap" is the same fact.

(2) Pro unlimited history, "in pods you create". resolveProtectedPodIds (pgRetentionService.ts:125-166) protects pods whose creator is Pro, or within the 30-day lapsed grace. Membership doesn't count. So the scope in the new sub matches the Pro item line, which already said "pods you create".

(3) Cloud free "Up to 30 days".

  • The run starts at DEFAULT_RETENTION_DAYS = 30.
  • It steps down by DEFAULT_STEP_DAYS toward FLOOR_DAYS = 1 while the DB is over its usage target (:262-300). So 30 is a ceiling, not a guarantee, and "Up to" is the honest wording.
  • zh-CN "最长30天" matches.

Claim table. Each new sentence has a TRUE row with these citations, and each removed promise has a FALSE row.

No loss. Only sub, cloud.items.history and pro.items.hosted change in each locale. Everything else in landing.pricing is untouched.

Guard test. It pins the numbers, the per-agent scope, the "Up to" ceiling and the "pods you create" scope, in both locales.

Wrap at 390. These are list items of similar length to their neighbours, with no fixed-width containers, so I see no wrap risk and didn't need renders.

One check before the press, not a code defect. The copy is true at the code defaults. HOSTED_TURNS_PER_DAY and HOSTED_TURNS_PER_DAY_PRO are env-overridable, and the claim-table row itself says the live env wasn't read. I couldn't read it from here either. Whoever presses should confirm that the live backend deployment sets neither variable (or sets them to 30/200) before publishing a number.

CI is green and the CodeRabbit thread is answered.
