docs(site): the introduction leads with multiplayer, matching the README (D136) - #2872
The docs front page still opened on "a pod is the room where work happens" and never said who is in it. Its top now says what the README top says in #2871: one pod for your team and the agents each of you runs, then the same four points (invite by link, bring your own agent, one board, you make the call). Both front doors now open the same way. This is item 3 of D136 (first-touch docs match the README).
Docs PR under D138, so it needs an Opus docs gate (lumen or ux-lead) and a hand press. lily-watch doesn't press docs.

Note
description: "The shared workspace where humans and agents collaborate."
"One pod for your team and the agents each of you runs."
GTM's D136 headline, same as the README
"Commonly is a shared workspace for humans and agents. A pod is the room where work happens: members share conversation, files, tasks, and context, while each agent keeps its own identity and memory."
Same facts kept (conversation as "one thread", tasks as "one task board", files, context, identity and memory), plus "Each agent is a named member with an owner, so everyone can see who has what." from the README intro
"room" is gone: the product word is pod
(none)
Four bold-lead paragraphs: Invite a teammate by link / Everyone brings their own agent / One board for the work / You make the call
Same wording as the README, with two changes. "From your Mac" is dropped, because the docs BYO pages also cover Linux and Windows over MCP. "One roster" becomes "the pod's one roster" (lumen): it is the pod's agent list, not Your Team
"An agent can run in one of two places…" paragraph
unchanged
Keeps Claude Code, Codex, hosted and your own program
Pods card: "Shared rooms with chat, tasks, files, members, and durable context."
"Shared spaces with…"
One word
Agents, Connectors and Agent runtime cards, "Two layers of participation", "Start here" cards, openapi note
unchanged
Every new sentence has a row, including the three lumen found uncited at 2b8ba85 (roster, filing tasks, update notes), in docs/audits/claim-table.md with its evidence. The invite line was walked on prod on 10-27, and the invite card was re-checked on prod today. The claim line says connected because a hosted agent has no claim tool yet. runtimeClaims.test.ts (no "any/every runtime") still holds for this page. No links were added.

"Before" is the live docs.commonly.me; "after" is this branch under the pinned mint@4.2.1028 dev (the same CLI version the docs workflow uses).
…DME (D136)
The docs front page still opened on "a pod is the room where work happens"
and never said who is in it. It now says what the README top says: one pod
for your team and the agents each of you runs, then invite by link, bring
your own agent, one board, you make the call. Same words as the README so
the two front doors tell one story.
Nothing is removed: the runtime paragraph, both card groups, and the daemon
section are unchanged. "Shared rooms" on the Pods card becomes "Shared
spaces"; the product word is pod.
Each new claim gets a row in docs/audits/claim-table.md with its evidence.

The introduction describes pods as shared spaces for teams and agents. It adds details about invitations, agent connections, task progress, and human decisions. The claim table records evidence for eight introduction claims.
Changes: Introduction documentation refresh
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Introduction copy and claim records docs-site/introduction.mdx, docs/audits/claim-table.md
The introduction describes pod membership, shared resources, invitations, agent workflows, and human decisions. The claim table adds verdicts, evidence, and dates for eight introduction claims.
The refreshed introduction has a bounded documentation-evidence risk: its audit records should be corrected to support the customer-facing claims, but no runtime failure is indicated.

Explanation
The title names the main change: the docs introduction now leads with the multiplayer framing, matching the README. It is specific, short, and matches the raw summary, which describes the intro rewritten around one shared pod for a team and its agents. The title's '(D136)' reference is an internal tracking tag, which slightly reduces clarity for teammates who do not know the decision, but it does not make the title misleading.
Full details: Description check
Explanation
The description explains the purpose of the change: the docs front page previously opened on a room-based definition, and now it matches the README's opening and four points. It also covers the before/after wording table, the claim-table entries for new sentences, the invite-line verification on production, the Opus docs gate and hand press requirement, and the render screenshots. This matches the raw summary's changes to the introduction page and the claim table.

Opus docs gate (D138) at 2b8ba85. CI was still running when I filed this, and this verdict doesn't depend on it.
(1) No loss: holds. I diffed the old intro myself:
Every heading, card, link and the openapi note is still there.
The description and the "room" wording changed as the no-loss table says.
The Pods card body changed "rooms" to "spaces".
The old opening paragraph's facts (conversation, files, tasks, context, identity and memory) are all in the new one.
No links were added or removed.
(2) Claims: three sentences have no row. Each of these is new on this page, and none has a row in docs/audits/claim-table.md:
"Every agent sits on one roster."
"Agents file tasks"
"Agents post what they tried."
All three are probably true. Evidence that would back them: the team roster in frontend/src/v2/components/V2YourTeamPage.tsx, task creation at backend/routes/tasksApi.ts:245, and task update notes at tasksApi.ts:787. The roster row needs to say which surface "one roster" means: the pod's member list, or Your Team across pods. Lily's bar is that an unbacked claim is a HOLD, so these need rows (with evidence) before this passes.
The five rows that are present check out against the code at this head:
installedBy is required at AgentRegistry.ts:261.
en.json:2640 has "including earlier messages".
The claim route and the In Progress column match.
Activity's decision kind and "Needs you" (en.json:206-210) match.
Dropping "from your Mac" is right for a page that also covers Linux and Windows.
(3) Theme: dark is unverified. The light renders at 1280 and 390 show the Signal theme, the bold-lead paragraphs wrap cleanly at 390, and the card grid stacks without breaking. The body has no dark-mode renders, and I can't produce them here (mint isn't available to me). Please add dark at 1280 and 390, before and after, under the same mint@4.2.1028 dev.
Fix: add the three claim rows and the dark renders.
…2872)
"Every agent sits on one roster" now says whose roster: the pod's. That is
the list the pod-agents route returns for every installed agent whatever its
runtime, and it is not Your Team, which spans pods.
Claim-table rows added for the three sentences lumen found uncited: the
roster, "Agents file tasks" and "Agents post what they tried".

Add evidence for agent task creation.
The introduction also says, “Agents file tasks.” This row covers an agent claiming an existing task and the board transition, but not task creation. Add a separate claim row with creation evidence, or remove that clause.

Add the required screenshot evidence for this walked claim.
The table defines WALKED as 390px and 1440px screenshots stored under docs/audits/claim-table/<section>/. This row only records “Prod walk 10-27” and a localization string. Add both screenshot artifacts, or remove the walked verdict.

Back the membership and owner-visibility claims with roster evidence, or narrow them.
installedBy only records the user who installed an agent. It does not show that the agent is a pod member, and it does not show that other members can see the owner. The row needs a citation for each half of the claim. The membership half can cite the pod membership write (backend/services/agentIdentityService.ts:738) or a roster read. The visibility half needs a response field that members receive. Otherwise, narrow the row to what the cited evidence shows.

Opus docs re-gate (D138) at 07d7e6f. This clears my HOLD at 2b8ba85.
(2) Claims. I checked the three new rows against the code at this head, and each one states its sentence exactly:
"Every agent sits on the pod's one roster." The sentence now names the pod's roster, not Your Team. That roster is the pod-agents card (en.json:1221 "agents in {{pod}}", rendered at V2Inspector.tsx:206-208). pod-agents.ts:179 feeds it from AgentInstallation.getInstalledAgents(podId), which returns every installed agent whatever its runtime. The row also cites a prod walk that listed a BYO agent and a hosted agent together.
"Agents file tasks."tasksApi.ts:245 (POST /:podId) sits behind auth, which is middleware/dualAuth (:12). Line 255 takes req.agentUser as the creator.
"Agents post what they tried."tasksApi.ts:787 (POST /:podId/:taskId/updates) uses the same dualAuth, and line 790 takes req.agentUser.
All eight new sentences now have a row. The five rows I checked at 2b8ba85 are unchanged.
(3) Theme. In the dark renders (mint@4.2.1028) the before and after chrome are identical: navbar, sidebar, "On this page" and the card borders. That means the change is copy only and the Signal theme holds.
The bold-lead paragraphs render in the heading colour.
At 390 the four platform cards stack single-column with no overflow or clipping.
The floating round badge at the bottom-left is in the "before" renders too, so this PR doesn't introduce it.
(1) No loss holds, as at 2b8ba85. Only introduction.mdx (the roster sentence) and claim-table.md changed since then.
Validate docs is green, and the only check still running is a CodeQL leg. There are no CodeRabbit threads.

Use one valid verdict per claim row.
Rows 58–59 use TRUE; walked, but the table defines TRUE and WALKED as separate verdicts. TRUE requires file:line evidence. WALKED requires 390-pixel and 1440-pixel screenshots. Choose one verdict and provide its required evidence. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
As per path instructions, the claim record must use evidence that matches its declared verdict.
