feat(og): Signal link-preview card from a committed HTML source (D38) - #2887
Old blue-square logo → design-system/assets/commonly-mark.svg, inlined in white.
"Chat with your agents. Ship real work." → "One pod for your team and the agents each of you runs." (Bricolage 800, 72/76, balanced to 2 lines)
"…your agents share one project memory…" → "Open source (Apache-2.0). People and their own agents share the same conversations and one task board." (IBM Plex Sans 26/36 at 86% white)
White card with a blue rule → Signal cobalt #1d3fd1 block. No shadow, no gradient, no green. Mono footer: commonly.me · github.com/Team-Commonly/commonly.
No prices, no "any runtime", no "one thread" (per the Cofounder ruling today).
Regenerable source
frontend/design-system/preview/og-card.html loads the self-hosted @fontsource files, so run this from frontend/ after npm ci:
The live og-card.png (July, #635) still carried the old blue-square logo,
"Chat with your agents. Ship real work." and "one project memory". This
replaces it with a Signal card rendered from
frontend/design-system/preview/og-card.html: cobalt #1d3fd1 block, the
commonly-mark, Bricolage display headline, IBM Plex sub-line and mono
footer, no shadow.
Headline: "One pod for your team and the agents each of you runs."
Sub-line: "Open source (Apache-2.0). People and their own agents share
the same conversations and one task board."
Regenerate (from frontend/, after npm ci):
npx playwright screenshot --viewport-size=1200,630 --wait-for-timeout=1500 \
"file://$PWD/design-system/preview/og-card.html" public/og-card.png
Cache-buster bumped to ?v=3 on og:image and twitter:image in index.html
and generate-seo-pages.mjs. scripts/og-card.test.mjs asserts all four
URLs agree, the PNG stays 1200x630, and the source keeps the ruled copy
without "one thread", "any runtime" or prices.

A static 1200×630 link-preview card page was added. Open Graph and Twitter image references now use og-card.png?v=3. A new test checks the card dimensions, copy, and metadata references, and the frontend test script runs it.

Summary
Preview card and asset checks frontend/design-system/preview/og-card.html, frontend/scripts/og-card.test.mjs
The static card page defines its fonts, layout, branding, and text. Tests check the committed PNG dimensions and verify required and excluded copy.
Metadata references and test integration frontend/index.html, frontend/scripts/generate-seo-pages.mjs, frontend/scripts/og-card.test.mjs, frontend/package.json
The Open Graph and Twitter image URLs now use version 3. Tests check the version references, and the frontend test script runs the new test file.
Team-Commonly/commonly#2650: Establishes the Signal cobalt color and visual identity used by the preview card.

Explanation
The title names the main change: a link-preview card (og image) now comes from a committed HTML source, tied to D38. It matches the objectives, which describe replacing the link-preview image with a Signal-style card rendered from og-card.html. The title is 69 characters and one sentence, which is acceptable. The 'feat(og):' prefix and the 'D38' reference are internal, but the title stays specific enough for a reviewer scanning history.

The description says the PR closes D38's link-preview card and gives before/after images of the 1200×630 card. It lists copy changes, the cobalt background, the regeneration command for og-card.html, the ?v=2 to ?v=3 cache-buster change in index.html and generate-seo-pages.mjs, and the new og-card.test.mjs added to npm test. It also notes a merge interaction with PR #2883. This matches the changeset closely.

Compare the rendered HTML with the committed PNG.
The current test checks only the PNG header and dimensions. Both the merge-base and reviewed-head PNGs are 1200×630, so an older or mismatched PNG can pass. The copy test reads only og-card.html.
Add a test that renders og-card.html with a fixed Playwright version and the committed @fontsource files, then compares the 1200×630 render with public/og-card.png. Reverting the PNG should fail this comparison. The current tests do not establish that the committed PNG was generated from the current HTML.

D138 Opus gate, #2887 at 9a41af6 (OG/social card). CI is green.
(1) The PNG matches its source. I rendered frontend/design-system/preview/og-card.html myself at 1200x630 in headless Chromium, using the committed @fontsource files. All three faces loaded (Bricolage Grotesque Variable, IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono). I diffed my render against public/og-card.png at this head: same size, and only 58 of 756,000 pixels differ by more than 32/255, all inside glyph edges (antialiasing). The background pixel is (29,63,209) = #1d3fd1. The inlined mark matches design-system/assets/commonly-mark.svg path for path. There is no shadow, gradient or green; the only rule is a 1px border at 28% white.
(2) Copy. The headline is exactly "One pod for your team and the agents each of you runs." and sets on 2 lines. The sub-line is exactly the ruled "Open source (Apache-2.0). People and their own agents share the same conversations and one task board." The card has no price, no "any runtime" and no "one thread", and og-card.test.mjs now guards all three.
(3) Cache-buster. og:image and twitter:image are ?v=3 in index.html and generate-seo-pages.mjs, and the four URLs agree. The new test asserts it.
(4) No-loss. The only lines changed in index.html and the generator are the four image URLs. No other meta tag changed. package.json only adds og-card.test.mjs to npm test. The PR body carries the before/after cards at both SHAs.
Non-blocking:
At this head, og:title, og:description and twitter:* still carry the old "chat with your agents" / "Any runtime… no per-agent fees" text. That's correct for this PR's scope, since #2883 replaces those lines. The new card only ships consistent if both PRs land in the same deploy.
CodeRabbit's single nitpick (review 5670530482: add a render-vs-PNG comparison test) has no reply yet. My pixel diff above answers it for this head, but the author should still reply not fixing: <reason> before the press.
