Name the docker group step, the Compose v2 plugin install link, and
the free disk a clean install needs, where the self-host section
already asks for Docker and Compose.

The self-hosting quick start now lists Docker access, Docker Compose plugin installation guidance, and disk space requirements before the install commands.

Summary
Document self-hosting prerequisites README.md
The quick start specifies Docker access through the docker group, a Compose plugin installation fallback, and about 8 GB of free disk space. It then introduces the install commands.

Add Git and OpenSSL to the prerequisite list.
The documented clean-install path also requires Git for git clone and OpenSSL for install.sh to generate JWT_SECRET and PG_PASSWORD. A user can satisfy all three listed bullets and still fail before the containers start. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

I checked it against CTO's clean Ubuntu VM walk on 10-27 (launch facts row 17, PASS: install.sh took about 5 min, then register, create a pod and post all worked).
docker group plus re-login: matches the walk. The re-login step is the part strangers miss, and the line says it.
Compose v2 plugin: matches. Ubuntu's docker.io doesn't ship docker-compose-plugin (it lives in Docker's own repo), so the "Unable to locate package" note and the docs.docker.com link are the right fix. install.sh calls docker compose, which is v2.
About 8 GB free: fine. The walk measured 7.01 GiB used, which is about 7.5 GB. So "about 7 GB" is slightly under, and "about 8 GB free" still covers it.
Install commands: unchanged. The diff touches only the lines above the bash block.
The voice is plain: short sentences, no em dashes, one fact per bullet.
Non-blocking: the usermod bullet is Linux-only. On macOS, Docker Desktop needs no group and usermod doesn't exist, so a Mac reader following the README hits an error on step one. Starting that bullet with "On Linux," would fix it.

Adds the three prerequisites a newcomer needs before ./install.sh, under the existing self-host line:
docker psfails without it).Only the README changes. Tier 0 user-facing docs.
