Brought up to main at 12a3260 by merging main in, not by force-push. Cuts every walk-only line on TASK-010 (README) and TASK-011 (quickstart and introduction). The 10-26 14:00 PT walk deadline passed, and the launch claim rule is walked-only. Lily ruled "Cut the unwalked lines" (10-28 05:50Z) and asked for the cut lines to be listed here, so GTM can restore any line after walking it.

Cut lines

  • README.md, Start on commonly.me:

    • 1. Sign up (GitHub, Google or email).
    • 2. Create a pod.
    • "The hosted agent says hello in a few seconds, and you can give it work in the pod." (the step is now 1. Create an account and a pod, then press **Run it here**.)
  • README.md, Bring your own agent:

    • "The page gives you four lines with your own token filled in." (the commands stay, checked against cli/ and install.sh; the lead-in now says "run the lines below")
    • "The page shows is listening once it's running."
  • docs-site/quickstart.mdx:

    • description: "…and ask it a question" (now "…then choose Run it here")
    • step 2: "It opens with a Your pod is ready card."
    • step 3: "On that card" and the status sequence "Adding agent…, then Starting agent…, then Agent running" (now "Choose Run it here.")
    • step 4, the @ step, whole
  • README.md, between Trust and Start on commonly.me: the connectors screenshot and its caption (connectors-2x.png, cut per 98800). The file moved to docs/assets/landing-source/, because readmeFrames requires every frame in docs/assets/readme/ to be referenced and the landing still pins this capture byte for byte. landingFrames.test.ts and the design mock point at the new path.

  • docs-site/introduction.mdx, seat requests: "Request a seat in the web app through Agents → Bring your own agent → On my computer, then choose the registered computer and seat."

  • docs-site/introduction.mdx, Two layers of participation: the paragraph starting "The local daemon supervises seats requested for a machine" (cut per Lily, 10-28 08:33Z; its claim rows are CUT).

docs/audits/claim-table.md: the seven matching rows, plus the two daemon rows, are now CUT, with their code evidence kept and the removal noted.

Not cut, and why

  • The other two README screenshots (pod-two-people-2x.png, demo-first-state-2x.png). No claim-table row marks them unwalked, so they stay.
  • The README's first step keeps the account step in merged form: Create an account and a pod, then press Run it here. The docs-site quickstart keeps "Create an account" (step 1), which the table still marks TRUE by code.

Note for GTM: the code treats an unset REGISTRATION_INVITE_ONLY as invite-only in production (backend/controllers/authController.ts:36–40). Production runs open today: /api/auth/registration-policy returns inviteOnly: false and registrationOpen: true (checked 08:08Z, 10-28). The README's first step says "Create an account and a pod" with no invite caveat, which matches the open policy in prod. If the policy closes again, that step needs an invite note.

Tier 0, docs only. Lily presses.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

The logged-in walks were not done by the 10-26 14:00 PT deadline, and
the launch claim rule is walked-only. Lily ruled "Cut the unwalked
lines" (10-28 05:50Z). Removed:

- README, Start on commonly.me: the sign-up and create-pod steps and
the "says hello in a few seconds" timing. Step 1 is now Run it here.
- README, Bring your own agent: "The page gives you four lines" and
"The page shows is listening". The commands stay; they are checked
  against cli/ and install.sh.
- docs-site/quickstart.mdx: the "Your pod is ready" card, the card's
status sequence, the @ step, and the frontmatter's "ask it a question".
- docs-site/introduction.mdx: the seat-request path (Agents → Bring
your own agent → On my computer).

The claim-table rows for these claims are CUT, with the code evidence
kept. Not cut: the README screenshots. No claim-table row marks them
unwalked, so they need a ruling.

Document account creation and the conditional invite requirement.

The hosted page requires a signed-in account. Signup creates the private workspace automatically, so do not require a separate pod-creation step. In production, an unset REGISTRATION_INVITE_ONLY value makes registration invite-only.

The alt text repeated two CUT rows in the claim table (lines 147 and 151),
and the connectors shots were already cut at line 157. The asset stays in

The README no longer shows connectors-2x.png, and readmeFrames requires
every frame in docs/assets/readme to be referenced. The landing copy still
pins this capture byte for byte, so the file moves to landing-source (the
directory for frames the README no longer shows) and the pin follows it.
The design mock's path follows too.

Gate at 3d38a10 (README and docs-site walk-only cuts).

The docs-site cuts are fine. After them quickstart.mdx reads "Create an account → Create a pod → Choose Run it here", and every remaining step is a TRUE row in the claim table. The introduction.mdx cut and the move of connectors-2x.png to landing-source are clean too: Landing390 and landingFrames.test.ts are repointed, and the README <div> tags still balance at 2/2.

Defect, README.md "Start on commonly.me": the list is now one step, "1. Press Run it here." under "On commonly.me, with nothing to install". A reader who follows it can't. The button isn't on commonly.me. It's on the new pod's card (en.json:622, newPod.runHere) and on the Bring your own page (:1538, :1621), so you need an account and a pod first. The cut removed the provider claim ("GitHub, Google or email"), which was not walked, and the prerequisite steps went with it, though their quickstart rows are TRUE. Fix: match quickstart, e.g. "Create an account and a pod, then press Run it here." That keeps the providers out.

Nit, not blocking: the claim-table CUT rows add "Removed in this PR…" straight after the old evidence with no full stop ("…still owed Removed in this PR").

Merge order: #2946 rewrites the Claude Code Linux bullet in this README section, so whichever lands second needs a rebase.

Gate on 3d38a10.

Docs edits are right: the README and docs-site steps match the claim table, the connectors image moved with its references, and readmeFrames still holds.

HOLD, because the PR also removes a legal disclosure. frontend/src/v2/legal/V2LegalPage.tsx:56 drops the line "Code sandbox: E2B. When a hosted agent runs code, the code and its output pass through an E2B sandbox ..." from the live /privacy page. #2933 added that line on main a few hours ago, and this PR deletes it along with its assertion in V2LegalPage.test.tsx. The PR body does not mention either change, and the title says docs only.

Also not in the body: docs/cli/dsh.md drops the 10-28 live-turn evidence and the "works from CLI 0.1.196" line, and changes the advice to "use a CLI release that carries this fix". Either list it and keep it, or revert it.

Fix: restore the V2LegalPage.tsx line and its test assertion, and say in the body what dsh.md change is for. Then re-file at the new head.

Correction to my HOLD on 3d38a10. Two of its reasons were wrong, and I withdraw them.

The legal and dsh.md reasons came from a stale base. This PR's merge-base with main is 7d091a4, which predates #2933 and #2939. A two-dot diff against main therefore shows main's newer lines as removed. The PR's own changes are the seven files Lumen listed. A merge of the PR into current main keeps the E2B line in V2LegalPage.tsx and its test, and keeps the dsh.md text.

The HOLD still stands for the README step 1, "Press Run it here". That button is on the new-pod card, not on commonly.me. Lumen's review has the wording.

Please rebase onto main, so the diff shows only these seven files. Re-gate at the new head.

Keep the Connect page's generated command as the runnable instruction.

The <...> values are shell redirection syntax, so copying this block literally can fail. The block already existed at the merge base, but this change removes the statement that the page supplies the token-filled commands and instead tells users to run the lines below. That makes the template appear directly runnable.

Re-gate at eb5cdc1 (since my HOLD at 3d38a10: the README step fix plus a merge of main).

  • Fixed: README step 1 now reads "Create an account and a pod, then press Run it here." That is followable on commonly.me, because the button is on the new pod's card (en.json:622) and the step now gets the reader there. It matches quickstart. No sign-up providers are named.
  • The registration claim holds: prod /api/auth/registration-policy just returned inviteOnly:false, invitationRequired:false, registrationOpen:true, so the CodeRabbit answer is right.
  • The merge lost nothing from either side. origin/main (12a3260) is an ancestor of this head, and the diff from main to this head touches only the PR's 7 files. The legal-page E2B line, its test and docs/cli/dsh.md match main exactly, and the README self-host prerequisites from #2934 are untouched. Outside README.md, the PR's own diff is byte-identical to the one I read at 3d38a10. A merge-tree against main is clean.

The press order stands as you gave it: this one first, then #2946 rebases its Claude Code Linux bullet onto this README.

is not walked, and the docs go live on merge, before HN. The paragraph is

Re-gate at a261be7 (one commit since my PASS at eb5cdc1).

The commit cuts the daemon paragraph from docs-site/introduction.mdx (old lines 57–60) and marks claim-table rows 81–82 CUT. Nothing else changed, and the rest of the PR is byte-identical to eb5cdc1.

Did the cut lose anything that was walked? No. Neither the launch facts sheet nor the directions ledger has a walk of the daemon supervising requested seats, or of attach not requesting a seat. Both rows were TRUE on code citations only, and row 82 was openly half-cited. The intro now flows from the shell paragraph straight into "Start here", and nothing else in the page refers back to the daemon. Merge-tree against main is clean.

Two notes, neither blocking. The CUT rows repeat the missing full stop before "Removed in this PR". #2931 edits this same page and conflicts at this head, which is expected given the rebase you planned.
