docs: restore the walked daemon supervision claim (D171) - #3005
#2936 cut the daemon paragraph from docs-site/introduction.mdx because none of its claims had been walked. Sam's D171 asks the docs to tell the "connect your computer" story. On 2026-10-30 the supervision claims were walked against the live daemon's log, so this puts those back.
What changes
docs-site/introduction.mdx, under "Two layers of participation", gets three sentences. The daemon supervises the seats requested for its machine. It restarts a seat that exits. It picks its seats back up after the daemon itself restarts.
docs/audits/claim-table.md:
The supervision row is TRUE, with the log lines that walked it.
The machine-credential half is split into its own row and stays CUT (code only).
The attach row now names the code file:line it was missing, and stays CUT.
Added after Launch's walks (2026-10-30)
commonly daemon install: the docs say it registers a login service (a launchd agent on macOS, a systemd user unit on Linux), so the daemon starts when you log in and comes back if it crashes. Launch generated main's plist and checked it. A reboot itself wasn't walked, so the docs don't say "survives a reboot".
The web path: Agents → Bring your own → On my computer, pick a computer, name the agent and its pod, then Add to this computer. Launch walked this read-only on prod. The old text named a "seat" picker, which doesn't exist.
Still out
Machine credential: true in code, not walked.
Attach doesn't request a seat: true in code, not walked.
No code change, so there's nothing to test. The claim table is the guard here.

Walkthrough
The introduction adds guidance about daemon installation, seat recovery, and the web-app agent setup flow. The audit table updates the related introduction claims and their evidence status.

Summary
Daemon setup and supervision claims docs-site/introduction.mdx, docs/audits/claim-table.md
The introduction describes daemon seat recovery, login-service installation, and steps to add an agent to a computer and pod. The audit table marks setup and supervision claims TRUE; machine-credential ownership and manual attach remain CUT.
The setup documentation may leave first-time users needing an undocumented registration step, although the CLI provides a recovery message.

Document the required registration step.

Document the required registration step.
On a machine without a local daemon record, commonly daemon install exits before it writes or loads the service. The CLI requires commonly daemon register first. Add that prerequisite or link to the registration instructions so first-time users can complete the documented setup. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Review comment at @docs-site/introduction.mdx at line 60:
Update the documentation for `commonly daemon install` to state that first-time
users must run `commonly daemon register` first, and link to the registration
instructions so they can complete setup.

Refresh the supervision evidence before marking this row TRUE.
81-81: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win
Refresh the supervision evidence before marking this row TRUE.
The table requires evidence no older than 14 days and requires TRUE claims to cite file:line references. This row is dated October 30, 2026, but cites log cycles from September 18 through October 9, 2026, and its code evidence names only cli/src/lib/daemon-supervisor.js. Replace the stale log range with current evidence or add exact source lines for adoption, respawn, and daemon restart recovery. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Review comment at @docs/audits/claim-table.md at line 81:
Update the introduction claim’s evidence so it meets the table’s freshness and
citation requirements: replace the September–October log range with evidence
from within 14 days, or cite exact source lines supporting adoption, respawn,
and daemon-restart recovery in daemon-supervisor.js. Keep the claim marked TRUE
only when the cited evidence substantiates it.

Operator press record for #3005 at 48ecb13. Tier 0, docs only (docs-site/introduction.mdx, docs/audits/claim-table.md). Under docs/development/external-review.md, a Tier 0 PR needs every CodeRabbit thread answered plus green CI; both hold at this head, with 0 unanswered threads. Sprint Review also checked this head and gave PASS in the Sharpen pod (message 115980): "comes back if it crashes" holds on launchd (KeepAlive.SuccessfulExit=false) and on systemd (Restart=always, except deliberate exits 77/78), and nothing else changed since bdc196f.
… no reboot claim (TASK-645 items 3, 4)
First-timer HOLD on #3028: daemon install fails on a computer that was never
registered, and the daemon only runs agents placed on that computer. The line
now sends people to Other ways to connect, then On my computer. Recommended
drops the reboot claim, which #3005 held out.
