TASK-655 item 2, room half. A real-browser check at 1440 and 390 (light and dark, mocked API, no overflow) showed the 1:1 room banner said "isn't connected" with no command, and the Your Team card shows "Not connected yet" with no command.

This PR: the banner now reads " isn't connected yet…" and, for the owner, shows the run command the server already sends (fixCommand, owner-only). A non-owner sees no command. en and zh-CN; two render tests.

Not here: the Your Team card has no command because the registry agents endpoint carries no fixCommand. That needs a backend change, filed as a follow-up.

Walkthrough

When a direct agent has never connected, V2Thread now shows its supplied connection command to the owning viewer. The update also adds English and Chinese command labels, styles the command, and tests owner and non-owner views.

Changes: Direct-agent connection guidance

Layer / File(s) Summary
Owner-only connection command
frontend/src/i18n/locales/en.json, frontend/src/i18n/locales/zh-CN.json, frontend/src/v2/components/V2Thread.tsx, frontend/src/v2/v2.css, frontend/src/v2/__tests__/V2ThreadStarter.test.tsx
The neverConnected message now describes waiting until the agent runs. When the viewer owns the agent and a fixCommand is present, V2Thread displays localized command guidance and the command. Styling and tests cover command display and its absence for non-owners.

Own review (Sonnet subagent), TASK-655 item 2 room half. The reviewer ran V2ThreadStarter, v2-layout-invariants and V2PodAgentLiveness: 313 passed.

  • The command renders only for the owner of a never-connected seat, and the server attaches fixCommand only for the owner too. fixCommand is commonly agent run <name> or a static string, with no token or URL.
  • en and zh-CN both carry the new key. CSS uses existing tokens and wraps at 390px. The browser check at 390/1440 (light and dark, no overflow) was on the pre-change tree.
  • Nit: a stray space before the block-level code line. Harmless.

Follow-up Comments

Minor follow-up Test the non-owner gate with a supplied command.

246-246: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Test the non-owner gate with a supplied command.

This fixture omits fixCommand, so the test still passes if the isOwner check is removed. Supply a command in this test and keep the assertion that it is not rendered.

As per path instructions, “A test that would still pass with the fix reverted is not a test.”

246:
Update the non-owner gate test using the fixture with isOwner set to false to
include a supplied fixCommand, and retain the assertion that the command is not
rendered so the test verifies the ownership check.

Minor follow-up Add a presence test for command wrapping.

2502-2502: Minor · Maintainability & Code Quality · Quick win

Add a presence test for command wrapping.

The current layout-invariant suite does not cover this rule. Add an assertion for overflow-wrap: anywhere so a regression cannot clip long commands on narrow screens. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

As per path instructions, “Load-bearing layout CSS (overflow, scroll containment, flex sizing) needs a presence test in frontend/src/v2/tests/v2-layout-invariants.test.ts.”

Review comment at @frontend/src/v2/v2.css at line 2502:
Add a presence assertion to the v2 layout-invariants suite for the
command-wrapping rule, verifying that the relevant CSS includes `overflow-wrap:
anywhere` so the rule cannot be removed unnoticed.

Outside diff Clear agent states when the pod changes.

599-599: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Clear agent states when the pod changes.

The effect replaces agentStates only after a successful request. A pod change or failed request therefore leaves the previous rows available. A matching instanceId can resolve the old row and display its fixCommand in the new room.

Suggested fix
   useEffect(() => {
     const podId = pod?._id;
+    setAgentStates([]);
     if (!podId) return undefined;

Review comment at @frontend/src/v2/components/V2Thread.tsx at line 599:
Clear agentStates at the start of the agent-state loading effect whenever the
pod changes, before returning for a missing pod ID or starting the request, so
rows from the previous pod cannot remain available after a failed request.
