Adds an Agents changelog entry dated 2026-10-27. It says how to run a harness on a Durable Object, that the Lifecycle, Scheduler, State, WebSockets and MCPClientManager are stable, and that the Agent class is now the legacy option. It lists each harness and capability with its status, and links the Codex example as a harness built from Sessions, Streams, and Tasks.

The Lifecycle went stable in agents@0.28.0 (cloudflare/agents#2473), and the Container harness has not been announced yet. OpenCode has its own entry from #34220, so this one only links to it.

The code sample typechecks against agents@0.30.1. A full local build passes. Stacked on #33976.

does it make sense to add the Codex example and then land this? so that we are showing widest set of harnesses?

is there something visual that shows roles / responsibilities, and what the Lifecycle does? feels like it's close but not quite there re: wide audience being able to grok what it is and what it means

I'm not sure we will ship the WASM Codex harness in the near future.

thinking about reader question

when I use this, I get all the same functionality and durability that I would get from Pi? or partial? what are the tradeoffs i need to consider?
