- Line 5: Update activityEditorsModule to register built-in editors through
uiHintContributions instead of the legacy uiHints path, mapping builtInEditors
entries to contributions with stable IDs, hints, components, and order 1000.
Update the related priority documentation to state that default-order extension
hints override built-in editors and that smaller order values win.

@greptileai Please review bf631e3. Built-in UI hints now register at fallback order 1000, preserving default-order third-party overrides. Added a later-sorting z-custom regression and changed the browser fixture to use default order. Local unit tests: 111 passing. |
[Medium impact] No outstanding findings prevent merging the reviewed changes. This assessment does not depend on a higher PR. SummaryAdds specialized date/time, outcome, HTTP status, and workflow-input editors through the public

@greptileai Please review the current head. Dynamic-outcome serialization preserves exact existing names; only the newly typed draft is trimmed. Added a port/connection identity regression for add/remove and a browser fixture with a saved whitespace name. Also merged the reviewed hosting fixes. Local checks: 112 unit tests, lint/types/production build, ASP.NET host build, and all 9 browser tests pass. |

@greptileai Please review integrated head e594524 after the current-main merge. |

User-authorized self-review for #8859. APPROVE + HIGH @ dde83f6 Reviewed DateTimePicker, DynamicOutcomes, HttpStatusCodes and InputPicker registration through the UI-hint slot, extension hints and round trips. Dynamic outcome handling preserves stable distinct outcomes and regression coverage. The final adaptation source passes 227 unit, 28 hosting and 49 browser tests, lint/types, module-boundary and localization checks, and builds for net8/net9/net10. The final six findings and subsequent expression-alias/index and cached-culture findings were fixed with regression coverage before this merge. At merge time, current-head CI is green, Greptile is 5/5 on this exact head, and the exhaustive stack thread audit records zero unresolved findings. This is an author self-review under the task owner's explicit standing self-review/self-merge authority, not an independent approval. Use the standard head-matched merge into main without changing protection or using an admin bypass. |
The date/time and workflow-input hints previously used text fields, while dynamic outcomes and HTTP status codes shared a generic string-list editor. This adds specialized controls through the public UI-hint slot. Date/time values round-trip through browser-local time, dynamic outcomes retain Object JSON and fixed ports, HTTP cases preserve nested activities, and input selection preserves the complete definition.
Built-in and extension hints now use the same renderer, with deterministic priority for overrides. Designer ports accept the server's JSON-string outcome format. The SDK editor context carries full input definitions.
Validation: 110 unit tests, 25 host tests, seven Chromium tests, lint/type/build, generated API docs, boundary guard, and an external consumer of all four packed public packages. The browser loads the actual ActivityEditors ESM through the manifest and checks editing, Amsterdam time-zone conversion, clearing, read-only behavior and an extension overriding a built-in hint. Dependency inventory passes (18 cases, 8,705 assertions).
Implements #8849 as part of #8859. Stacked on #8934; other Preview parity work and publication remain separate.
