Conversation
Continue the optional US Mario costume with local Smash 64 import, native inventory/transform integration, jump and fist adaptation, PCM voices, and texture-atlas rendering. Fix icon/toast, landing rearm and restored audio state. The r10 build passes 21 live smoke checks plus asset/PCM and focused framework tests. Combat/grab, native card saves, rewind and release qualification remain in progress; this is not a release.

Adds Mario's Hat to the normal US catalog as EXPERIMENTAL 0.0.1, disabled by default. A verified original Super Smash Bros. 64 US 1.0 ROM is required even when imported assets are cached. The locally imported costume has double jump, extended punches, native grab/throw interactions, corrected facing, chest/post/hang/ladder poses and source-pitched voices. ROMs and imported Nintendo assets are excluded.
Integrates the trusted PCM/snapshot support merged in RetroPortingToolKit/psxrecomp#767 and matching current recomp-ui. Release/native hook settings now agree; production diagnostics are off, launcher support files are complete, presentation controls remain available, and CD Speed/Fast Loading are excluded from regional release catalogs. Preserve the approved wall-clock presentation default: synchronized swaps on the 165Hz panel caused a measurable slowdown, so the title defaults VSync off while retaining user overrides. The US Windows preview advances to v0.3.0; existing regional/platform artifacts remain separate.
Validation: owner accepted the production gameplay and authorized merging. Current integration passes 22 real gameplay/voice/current-build save-load assertions, native memory-card restoration, two asset/PCM tests, catalog/default/ROM checks, nine Python regressions and four framework targets. All 54 original-disc recipes/29 images pass native audits (73 pairs/14328 candidate rows). Exact public runtime with the committed presentation profile measures 59.91 guest VBlanks/s for Tomba and Mario; missing, unavailable and wrong-checksum ROMs are refused despite valid imported caches. The final public ZIP is published at https://github.com/mstan/Tomba2Recomp/releases/tag/v0.3.0; shared artifact verification and the uploaded SHA-256 pass. Its native cache was fully re-audited against fresh byte-identical original inputs before reuse. Full progression, all-stage performance and complete native coverage remain unproven.
