Addresses #27 (companion to Copilot's #28 — same brief, independent take).

What

New docs walkthrough docs/walkthrough-carbopol-glycerin.md: HB and TC fits of cp02_gly_20c_fc.json (2% Carbopol in glycerin, 20 °C, 51-point flow curve, dataset archived under docs/walkthrough/).

Results

  • HB: σ_y=0.674±0.014 Pa, K=13.65, n=0.713 — RedChi² 1.83e-3 (statistically better)
  • TC: σ_y=0.376±0.021 Pa, γ̇_c=0.00182 s⁻¹, η_bg=3.71±0.10 Pa·s — RedChi² 3.55e-3
  • Key finding: the viscous glycerin background dominates above ~10 s⁻¹; TC's η_bg=3.71 Pa·s (≈2.6× pure glycerin at 20 °C) isolates the continuous-phase effect the issue asks about. HB's higher σ_y (0.67 vs 0.38 Pa) partly books background viscous stress as yield.
  • Citations verified (Herschel & Bulkley 1926 doi:10.1007/BF01432034).

Checks

  • Local sphinx -W HTML build: clean; mermaid renders via mermaid.js, figures + landing-page link verified in output.
  • Mermaid workflow diagram with committed EPUB SVG fallback (EPUB/PDF via CI).
  • Please do not merge — awaiting review.

- New docs/walkthrough-carbopol-glycerin.md: HB and TC fits of the
  cp02_gly_20c_fc.json flow curve (2% Carbopol in glycerin, 20 C)

- TC: sigma_y=0.376 Pa, gamma_dot_c=0.00182 1/s, eta_bg=3.71 Pa.s (RedChi2 3.55e-3)
- Shows how the viscous continuous phase dominates above ~10 1/s
and how TC's eta_bg isolates it (~2.6x pure glycerin viscosity)
