What this is

ADR-032, sub-pods (child pods with a goal, a done condition and a soft size limit), opens as Proposed. Nothing in it is ratified. TASK-533.

Copied from the draft, with seven deviations

The ADR is the sub-pod draft, verbatim except for these edits:

  1. The title drops "(draft)".
  2. The status line says "Drafted 2026-10-25" where the draft said "Private draft, 2026-10-25".
  3. The numbering note names the open PRs that hold the neighbouring numbers: docs(adr): ADR-031 seat OS-user isolation (Accepted) #2428 claims ADR-031, and docs(adr): ADR-033 grant record (Accepted) #2691 files the grant-record ADR as ADR-033. The draft said ADR-031 was reserved for the grant record and the pair needed renumbering. docs(adr): ADR-033 grant record (Accepted) #2691 already did that.
  4. Under "Scope boundary", the ADR-018 bullet adds "where it sits as D8.6 (Proposed)".
  5. §3's read-access row and §4's board paragraph called canViewPod membership-only. It also admits global admins (dmService.ts:491-498), plus a shared-pod fan-out for agent-dm pods only. Both places now say so, and §4's claim that a parent member outside C can't read C's rows now names the global-admin exception. The draft's conclusion is unchanged: parent membership grants nothing in a child. CodeRabbit found this, and the code on main confirms it.
  6. §5 posts C's result into P and files C's escalations there, where P members outside C read them, but §3's "never wider" rule named no exception. §3 now names that upward flow as S1's one exception. It lists exactly what leaves C: the result message's goal, doneWhen, summary and link, and an escalation's DecisionRequest fields (title, question, context, options, decisionClass; DecisionRequest.ts:36-40) plus escalatedFromPodId. It also notes that both reveal C exists. The draft left the escalation payload unspecified. §5 points at the new paragraph. Rhea raised this as her item 1, and it is Sable's HOLD item 2.
  7. §11 said everyone in the parent room sees the child's rollup, but §4 shows a child only to callers who can view it. §11 now says those who are also in the child see it. §4 is unchanged. A rollup for P-only members would need its own audience decision, which is left for the ratification. Rhea raised this as her item 2, and it is Sable's HOLD item 1.

Everything else is as drafted. That includes the four open questions in the status line, and §10's five questions with Cofounder's proposed answers. Those answers stay proposals for Sam to ratify at review.

Same PR: the ADR-018 amendment, as proposed text

  • ADR-018 D8.6 (new section after D8.5): a sub-pod result wakes only the parent pod's owner. It is marked PROPOSED and not in force. It is ratified together with ADR-032 or not at all (ADR-032 §10, proposed answer 4). ADR-032 calls this rule D6.2. ADR-018 already has a D6.2 (serial event processing), so here it is D8.6, and the section says why.
  • ADR-018 status line gains one sentence: D8.6 is Proposed together with ADR-032 and is not in force.
  • ADR-016 "Out of scope": the parked parentPod line now points at ADR-032, which proposes activating it and leaves ADR-016's tiers unchanged.
  • Landing page ADR count: ADR_COUNT in frontend/src/v2/landing/V2LandingPage.tsx goes from 30 to 31. v2-layout-invariants.test.ts checks that literal against the files in docs/adr and failed on the first head, as its comment says it should in the PR that adds an ADR. docs(adr): ADR-031 seat OS-user isolation (Accepted) #2428 and docs(adr): ADR-033 grant record (Accepted) #2691 each add an ADR too, so whichever merges after another needs the next number.

What was checked

  • The ADR line citations (into ADR-016, ADR-018, ADR-020, ADR-024 and ADR-028) match main. Main has not touched docs/adr/ since this branch was cut. D8.6 is inserted below every ADR-018 line ADR-032 cites, so none of them move.
  • The code line citations are as drafted, pinned to 136709aa0 as §1 states. The ones review touched were re-checked at this branch's base 1dc3e82ee, where those files are identical to the pin: dmService.ts, tasksApi.ts:212-215, podFocusService.ts:214-217, routes/pods.ts:610-622 and podDeletionService.ts:24-43. The others were not. main has since added lines above the tasksApi.ts fallthrough, so on today's main it sits at :216-219, with the same logic.
  • No ADR-032 exists on main or in another open PR. main's highest is ADR-030.
  • Deviation 6's field list matches DecisionRequest.ts:36-40 at 136709aa0, and the file is identical on today's main.

Found in review and not edited

CodeRabbit raised five points about the proposal itself, and Rhea's security gate raised a sixth, which both gates call non-blocking. CodeRabbit's pass on 59580b950 raised the sixth again and added a seventh, after both gates had passed at that head. The row copies the draft verbatim, so all seven are left as drafted and listed here for the gates and for Sam's ratification:

  1. Owner at create (§2, §3). podFocusService.ts:214 requires the owner to be a current member. §3's create guards check the caller, not the owner. The ADR doesn't say whether create adds a non-creator owner to C, which S1 would then require to be in P, or requires the owner to be the creator.
  2. Rollup parent check (§4). /children checks canViewPod on the parent first and returns 403 (routes/pods.ts:612-613), then filters each child (:619-622). The ADR cites only the per-child filter. S1 already keeps child data from anyone who can't view P. What's unstated is the 403 for a parent the caller can't view.
  3. Done sequence (§5). The post comes before resultMessageId is recorded. If the post succeeds and the revision write fails, a retry posts a second result. "A failed post leaves C at done" reads as if it means a failed archive. Chat messages are in Postgres and pods in Mongo, so one CAS can't span both.
  4. Stale owner (ADR-018 D8.6). If P.focus.ownerUserId is a human, or an agent with no installation in P, no seat gets the addressed wake. The other seats get digest, and D9.1 gives unread digest one heartbeat after 60 minutes, so the result is late but not lost. A wider fallback wake would be a new wake rule.
  5. Delete with children (§3, Delete row). Today deletePodCascade removes P's own records and then P (podDeletionService.ts:24-43), so a child keeps a parentPod that points at a deleted pod. The proposed rule refuses the delete only while P has non-archived children, or archives them first. Either way an archived child is left pointing at the deleted P, so "No orphans" doesn't follow as written, and §3's leave row treats archived membership as live read access. Refusing the delete while any child exists, archived ones included, would close it, as CodeRabbit suggests. So would a delete that removes the children with P. That choice is for the ratification.
  6. Unarchive (§8). Unarchive is owner- or creator-only and resumes paused installs, but the ADR doesn't say the entrance guards run again. The cascades should keep S1 true while C is archived. Rhea recommends a re-check at unarchive anyway, since it's cheap.
  7. Public parent (§3, §5). S1 allows a private C under a showcase or community P, since tier(C) ≤ tier(P). Anyone can read such a P's messages, anonymous visitors included: GET /api/showcase/:podId/messages checks only publicRead (routes/showcase.ts:122, :256 at caadc319e). Its noise filter drops system messages and empty, NO_REPLY, heartbeat, model-failure and error content (isShowcaseWorthy, :76-94). §5's result message is authored by C's owner, so unless it is typed system it reaches that feed with C's goal, doneWhen, summary and link. An escalation does too if it shows in P's chat. §3's upward-flow paragraph names P's members outside C as the readers and doesn't consider a public P. Refusing private children under a publicRead parent would close it. So would posting only a link to C when P is publicRead. Keeping sub-pod results out of the showcase feed would close only the anonymous read, since a community P with open join admits any signed-in user. That choice is for the ratification.

…text (TASK-533)

ADR-032 is copied from the sub-pod draft. Its deviations from verbatim:
the title drops "(draft)", the status line says "Drafted" instead of
"Private draft", the numbering note names the open PRs that hold 031
(#2428) and 033 (#2691), and the ADR-018 scope-boundary bullet names
where the amendment sits (D8.6). The four open questions stay in the
status line as drafted, and section 10 keeps Cofounder's proposed
answers as proposals for Sam to ratify.

ADR-018 gains D8.6, the sub-pod result wake, as proposed amendment text
that is not in force. It is D8.6 rather than D6.2 because ADR-018
already has a D6.2 (serial event processing). Its status line says so.

ADR-016's parked parentPod line points at ADR-032.

Correct the canViewPod description.

canViewPod is not membership-only. It grants global admins read access to any pod and has a shared-pod exception for agent-dm. Scope this statement to the new non-DM child path, or document the exceptions. Otherwise S1's read-access rule does not match the existing authorization contract.

As per path instructions, docs/** must match the repository's actual authorization behavior.

Define the stale-owner fallback for D8.6.

If P.focus.ownerUserId is no longer an active agent recipient, the addressed wake can reach no agent while other installations receive only a digest. Define an active-recipient check and make stale-owner lookup failures fall back toward over-delivery.

- **Create.** `POST /api/pods` with `parentPod` **requires** `goal`, `doneWhen` and `ownerUserId`, and
writes `focus` and `subPod` in the same insert. A child without a goal is the vague room this exists to stop.
- **Owner.** The owner may be a human **or an agent**: `focus` only requires an existing member
(`podFocusService.ts:214-217`). Editing stays human-only, as focus does today (`:203`). An agent
owner can *mark done* (§5) but can't rewrite its own goal.

Define membership for a child owner.

The current POST /api/pods path creates members: [req.userId]. PodFocusService accepts focus.ownerUserId only when that user is a current member. This proposal permits ownerUserId to name another human or agent, but it does not specify how that owner becomes a member of C or how C's members remain a subset of P's members. An implementation can reject valid creates or persist a focus that violates S1 and the focus invariant. Require the owner to be an existing member of P and include or validate the owner in C before writing focus.

As per path instructions, docs/** must preserve cross-layer contracts and data invariants.

- **Rollup.** New `GET /api/v1/tasks/:podId/rollup` returns, for each child the caller passes
`canViewPod` on (the same filter as `/children`, `routes/pods.ts:619-622`): name, goal, `subPod.status`, counts by
status, and the non-done rows (taskId, title, status, assignee). It is read-only, with no claim or
update affordance. A child the caller can't view is **absent**, not redacted, because its existence is
already hidden from `/children`. This is ADR-028 D12's audience floor (`ADR-028:519`) applied to the rollup.

Gate the rollup on parent visibility before querying children.

The existing /children route first checks canViewPod(parent) and then filters each child. This description specifies only a per-child filter. The ADR also preserves legacy S1 violations for review, so a caller could be a member of a child without being a member of its parent. Require the rollup to authorize the parent before returning any child names, goals, counts, or rows.

**Result.** When the owner marks the child done (`POST /api/pods/:id/sub-pod/done {summary}`), the kernel does three things in one CAS on `subPod.revision`:
1. It posts one structured message into P, authored by C's owner and marked `kind: 'sub-pod-result'`, carrying
the goal, `doneWhen`, the summary and a link to C. The owner can post there because S1 makes them a member of P.
2. It writes `resultMessageId`, `resultSummary`, `doneAt` and `doneBy`, and sets `status: 'done'`.
3. It archives C (§8). `done` is the transient state between the post and the archive. A failed post leaves C at `done`, and a retry is idempotent on `resultMessageId`.

Define an atomic and idempotent result-write protocol.

The result message, subPod CAS, and archive state use different persistence operations. The listed order also conflicts with the failure rule: if posting the message fails first, the later write cannot leave C at done. If posting succeeds but the CAS fails before resultMessageId is durable, a retry has no durable idempotency key and can create a duplicate result. Specify an outbox or transaction boundary, or reserve a deterministic idempotency key before posting and define archive retries.

Refuse parent deletion while children exist.

DELETE /api/pods/:id reaches deletePodCascade, which deletes only P. It does not update children whose parentPod is P. Deleting a parent with a child therefore leaves a persisted orphan and violates ADR-032’s “No orphans” invariant.

Remove the archive-then-delete option unless the implementation adds an atomic child cascade or retarget operation. With the current service, the safe ADR policy is to refuse deletion while any child exists:

Suggested fix

…SK-533)

The draft called canViewPod membership-only in two places (section 3's
read-access row and section 4's board paragraph). It also admits global
admins (dmService.ts:491-498), and for agent-dm pods only, the shared-pod
fan-out. A child is never a DM kind, so for a child it admits members and
admins. The draft's conclusion holds: parent membership grants nothing in
a child, and admins read P too, so C is no wider than P.

This is the fifth named deviation from the draft. CodeRabbit found it on
review 5642863078.

Answering CodeRabbit's review at e23849786 (#2706 (review)). The head is now 9d702dcda.

TASK-533 copies the sub-pod draft verbatim, so I edited only what review showed to be wrong about today's code. The four points about the proposal itself are left as drafted. The PR body lists them under "Found in review and not edited", for the gates and for Sam's ratification.

Other comment, ADR-032 line 100, "Correct the canViewPod description": fixed in 9d702dcda. Confirmed in dmService.ts:479-514 on main. canViewPod admits members and also global admins (:491-498). It adds the shared-pod fan-out only for agent-dm (:500). The same false claim was in §4's board paragraph, and both places now describe the real behaviour. The conclusion is unchanged: a child is never a DM kind, so parent membership grants nothing in a child. Admins read P too, so C is no wider than P. This is the fifth named deviation in the body.

#2706 (comment) (owner at create): not edited, listed for ratification. The gap is real. podFocusService.ts:214 requires the owner to be a current member. §3's create guards check the caller, not the owner, and the ADR doesn't say how a non-creator owner joins C at insert. The fix is a choice the draft's author has to make. Either create adds the owner to C, and S1 then requires the owner to be in P, or the owner must be the creator.

#2706 (comment) (rollup parent check): not edited, listed for ratification. No child data can leak. S1 makes members(C) ⊆ members(P), and admins read both, so anyone who can view a child can view P. What the ADR leaves unstated is the parent check itself. The /children precedent checks canViewPod on the parent first and returns 403 (routes/pods.ts:612-613), before its per-child filter (:619-622), but the ADR cites only that filter.

#2706 (comment) (done atomicity): not edited, listed for ratification. The gap is real. §5 posts the message before it records resultMessageId. So if the post succeeds and the revision write fails, a retry posts a second result. Idempotence on resultMessageId only holds once that id is recorded. "A failed post leaves C at done" reads as if it means a failed archive, because C isn't done until after the post. And chat messages live in Postgres while pods live in Mongo, so a single CAS can't cover both.

Other comment, ADR-018 lines 519-523 (stale owner in D8.6): not edited, listed for ratification. If P.focus.ownerUserId is a human, or an agent with no installation in P, no seat gets the addressed wake. The others get digest, and D9.1 gives unread digest one heartbeat after 60 minutes. So the result arrives late but isn't lost. A wider fallback wake would be a new wake rule. D8.6 is Proposed and not in force, and that rule is part of what Sam ratifies.

Qualify the child-read restriction for global admins.

The sentence says that a parent member who is not in C cannot read C rows. The cited canViewPod path also admits global admins, so a parent member with global-admin privileges can read C without membership in C. State this exception explicitly, or change the proposed access rule.

As per path instructions, docs/** must preserve the actual access contract.

Answering CodeRabbit's two review-body comments that came after my last answer. The head is now 4a4c17ed4.

Outside-diff comment in #2706 (review) (§3 Delete row, "Refuse parent deletion while children exist"): not edited, listed for ratification. The code claim is right. At the pin, deletePodCascade removes P's own records and then P (podDeletionService.ts:24-43), and never touches a pod whose parentPod is P. The ADR's "today" cell says that ("none"). The gap is in the proposed cell. Refusing only while non-archived children exist, or archiving them first, still leaves an archived child pointing at a deleted P. So "No orphans" doesn't follow, and §3's leave row treats archived membership as live read access. Refusing while any child exists would close it, and so would deleting the children with P. That is a choice in the proposal, so it is item 5 under "Found in review and not edited" in the body.

Other comment in #2706 (review) (line 119, "Qualify the child-read restriction for global admins"): fixed in 4a4c17ed4. The bold claim now reads "can't read them unless they are a global admin", which matches canViewPod (dmService.ts:491-498) and the explanation after it. This completes named deviation 5. The conclusion is unchanged, because a global admin reads P too.

Tier 2 security gate for TASK-533, #2706 (ADR-032 sub-pods, Proposed, with ADR-018 D8.6 as proposed text) at 4a4c17e. Head check: OPEN, not draft, base main. Docs only: ADR-032 (new), ADR-018 (D8.6 marked Proposed, not in force), ADR-016 (out-of-scope pointer), and V2LandingPage.tsx (ADR_COUNT 30 to 31). The landing count is not a security surface and I did not review it.

Scope: the §3 inheritance invariant S1, as the row names it for me. Nothing in this PR changes code, so S1 is a design claim, not a code claim.

What holds:

  • Read access. The §3 read row describes canViewPod correctly: members, global admins, and the agent-dm fan-out. A child is never a DM kind, so parent membership gives no access to C. The admin read does not widen C beyond P, because admins read P as well. This PR does not touch dmService.ts.
  • Connector grants. Grants match by target.id equality, so a P grant does not reach C. The one new path, a retarget-to-child step, is listed as a must-add with a named check (C.parentPod === parent.target.id) and the subset checks already present in attenuateGrant. I accept that as the design.
  • Revocation. Revoking the P grant cascades, which keeps child grants inside the parent's lifetime.
  • Entrance guards. Every new check in the §3 table is a writer guard, and §9 says existing rows are counted and not rewritten. That matches the ADR's own rule.

Findings, none blocking the Proposed status. Items 1 and 2 need to be settled before Accepted.

  1. S1 covers who can read a pod. It does not cover what flows up. §5 posts C's goal, doneWhen and resultSummary into P as a message, and the escalation files a DecisionRequest in P. P members who are not in C can read both. That is a disclosure from a narrower audience to a wider one, and it is probably the intent: the parent room hears results. But "a child is never wider than its parent" reads as covering information too, and it does not. Ask: state the upward flow as a named exception in §3, and list the fields that leave C in the escalation payload. Today the escalation content is unspecified.

  2. §11 and §4 disagree on who sees the rollup. §11 says the people in the parent room "see a rollup of its board". §4 says a child the caller cannot view is absent, and canViewPod(child) needs membership of C. So a P-only human sees no rollup. The §4 rule is the safe one. Either §11 changes, or the rollup needs its own audience decision.

  3. Unarchive does not re-check S1. §8 says unarchive is owner or creator only and resumes paused installs. It does not say the entrance guards run again. The cascades should keep S1 true while C is archived, but a re-check at unarchive is cheap. Recommend adding it.

Tier 0 docs gate for TASK-533 (#2706 at 4a4c17e). Security leg is Rhea's and is not restated here.

Checked and holding:

  • ADR count: ADR_COUNT = 31 in V2LandingPage.tsx matches the 31 ADR-*.md files at head, which the layout-invariants test enforces.
  • ADR-018 D8.6 is present and marked Proposed; the status line says it is not in force.
  • The code citations I spot-checked match origin/main: the global-admin read in dmService.canViewPod (~491-498), and the /children parent-403 and per-child filter in routes/pods.ts (~610-622).

Two internal contradictions to fix before this is ratified. Both are about who can see what, which is the ADR's subject.

  1. §11 says a parent-room team "see[s] a rollup of its board". §4 says a parent member who isn't in C cannot read C's rows, and that /rollup omits any child the caller cannot view ("absent, not redacted"). So a P-only human does not get the rollup §11 promises. Either the sentence goes or §4 changes; as written the two cannot both hold.
  2. §5 sends C's result summary and its escalated decision text up into P, where P-only members read it. That is a flow of C content to people §4 says cannot read C. It may be the intended design, but it is not named as an exception. Name it, and name the escalation payload too.

Not blocking, for the author: Rhea's third item (add an S1 re-check at unarchive) is a suggestion for §8. I did not verify the §8 text against the rest of the ADR.

GATE: HOLD

…lup to section 4 (TASK-533)

Both gates found two places where the draft contradicts itself about who
sees what. Section 5 posts a child's result into the parent and files its
escalations there, where parent members outside the child read them, but
section 3's "never wider" rule named no exception. Section 3 now names
that upward flow as S1's one exception and lists exactly what leaves the
child, including the DecisionRequest fields an escalation carries
(DecisionRequest.ts:36-40), which the draft left unspecified. Section 5
points at it.

Section 11 said everyone in the parent room sees the child's rollup.
Section 4 shows a child only to callers who can view it, so section 11
now says those who are also in the child see it. Section 4 is unchanged.

These are named deviations 6 and 7 from the draft. Rhea's third item,
a re-check at unarchive, stays listed in the PR body for the ratifier.

Tier 0 docs re-gate for TASK-533 at 59580b9. Re-checked the two items from my HOLD at 4a4c17e.

  • §3 now names the upward flow as S1's one exception ("One flow goes up on purpose") and lists exactly what leaves C: the result message fields, and the escalation's DecisionRequest fields plus escalatedFromPodId. It also says the kernel attaches nothing else. That closes the unnamed exception.
  • §11 now says those who are also in the child see its board as a rollup on the parent (§4). §4 gates the rollup on canViewPod per child, so the sentence matches it.
  • ADR_COUNT is still 31, and the ADR file count at head is still 31.
  • The /children parent 403 I cited at routes/pods.ts:612-613 on main is unchanged.

The unarchive S1 re-check stays on the ratifier's list, as Rhea's item and the body say. It is not a blocker.

Tier 2 security re-gate for TASK-533, #2706 (ADR-032 sub-pods, Proposed, with ADR-018 D8.6 as proposed text) at 59580b950ab9f9c1b8b7f4a1ee2d03e2a0a4e0ef. Head check: OPEN, not draft, base main. Supersedes my PASS at 4a4c17e (review 5643680918). The author has now answered the two access items I had named for the ratifier. Delta from 4a4c17e is ADR-032 only (19 insertions, 2 deletions). Docs only.

What the delta does:

  • §3 now names the upward flow as S1's one named exception. The result message carries C's goal, doneWhen, the owner's summary and a link to C. An escalation carries the DecisionRequest's requester-written fields and escalatedFromPodId. The kernel attaches nothing else from C. That answers my item 1 at 4a4c17e.
  • §11 now says the rollup is for people who are also in the child, matching §4's canViewPod(child) filter. That answers my item 2.
  • The unarchive S1 re-check is still listed for the ratifier, not written into the rule. I accept that as a named open item, not a silent gap.

Checked:

  • The field list cites DecisionRequest.ts:36-40. On main, title, question, context and options sit at 36-39, and decisionClass at 35. The citation is off by one line, which is cosmetic.
  • The canViewPod(child) filter is the one §4 already gives, so the §11 sentence is now consistent with it.

Non-blocking precision item:

  • The "kernel attaches nothing else" sentence is true for content, but the DecisionRequest also carries kernel-set identity fields that §3 does not list: agentUserId, agentName, instanceId (the requesting seat, which sits in C) and escalatedFromPodId (which names C). Existence of C is already disclosed by the result link and escalatedFromPodId, which §3 names, so this adds the requester's identity. Recommend naming those three fields in the same list, so the disclosure statement is complete.

Make unarchive an S1 entrance guard.

The proposed unarchive transition changes status to active and resumes paused installs, but authorizes only the owner or creator. S1 requires every writer to enforce current parent membership, visibility tier, and connector-surface bounds. The existing cascades cover specific parent mutations, but the unarchive rule does not require validating the current state. An archived child can therefore be reactivated with stale or already-invalid inheritance state.

Suggested fix
-- **Unarchive** sets `status: 'active'` and resumes the paused installs. Owner or creator only. It is audited.
+- **Unarchive** first rechecks S1 against the current parent: `members(C) ⊆ members(P)`, `tier(C) ≤ tier(P)`, and the child’s effective connector surface remains within the parent’s. If any check fails, unarchive is refused. The owner or creator must still authorize the operation. It is audited.

**One flow goes up on purpose.** S1 bounds who can read and act in C. It doesn't stop C's content
from reaching P: §5's result message and an escalation both land in P, where members who aren't in C
read them. Both also show that C exists, which `/children` hides from those members (§4). This is
the one named exception to "never wider", and exactly this leaves C:

- **The result message:** C's goal, `doneWhen`, the owner's summary and a link to C.
- **An escalation:** a `DecisionRequest` with the fields its requester writes (`title`, `question`,
`context`, two to four `options`, and `decisionClass`; `DecisionRequest.ts:36-40`), plus
`escalatedFromPodId`.

The kernel attaches nothing else from C: no rows, messages or files. Whatever the requester writes
into those fields is disclosed to P.

Restrict upward child content on public parents.

A private child can post its result into a publicRead parent. The anonymous showcase endpoint returns substantive parent messages, including their original content. This can expose the child’s goal, completion condition, summary, link, or escalation data to users who cannot view the child.

Restrict upward delivery to users who can view the child, reject public parents for sub-pods, or explicitly define and enforce public disclosure. The showcase noise filter does not redact child data.

showcase, either by disallowing sub-pods under public parents or enforcing
explicit public-disclosure rules. Clarify that the showcase noise filter does
not redact this content.

CodeRabbit's pass at 59580b950 (review 5643726321) raised two major points. This row copies the draft verbatim, and both points are design questions, not claims that are false about today's code. So neither is edited. Both are listed under "Found in review and not edited" in the PR body for the ratification. The head is unchanged, so both gate PASSes at 59580b950 still apply.

#2706 (comment) (public parent, §3 :108-119). Confirmed against main at caadc319e. GET /api/showcase/:podId/messages checks only publicRead (routes/showcase.ts:122, :256). isShowcaseWorthy (:76-94) drops only system messages and empty, NO_REPLY, heartbeat, model-failure and error content. S1 allows a private child under a showcase or community parent, so §5's result message would be public with the child's goal, doneWhen, summary and link, since the child's owner authors it. Listed as point 7. Two options would close it: refuse private children under a publicRead parent, or post only a link to the child there. Filtering the showcase feed alone would not cover an open community parent, which any signed-in user can join.

Outside-diff finding, unarchive as an S1 entrance guard (§8, :214-223). Already listed as point 6. Rhea's security gate raised it and both gates call it non-blocking. The PR body now notes that CodeRabbit raised it too.
