fix(byo): the computer setup command logs in to the page's instance (TASK-547) - #2727
TASK-547 (D39, P1 from Lily). The BYO "Add a computer" command ran a bare commonly login. The CLI falls back to its built-in production default when no --instance is given, so a dev or self-hosted page registered its computer against commonly.me.
One helper, frontend/src/v2/utils/daemonSetupCommand.ts, builds the command from the API base URL with an explicit --instance, the same form Connect already uses (V2ConnectPage).
BYO (V2AgentBYO.tsx) and the runtime grants section (V2AgentRuntimeGrants.tsx) both call it. The copied constant in the grants section is gone.
Invariant test byo-setup-command-invariant.test.ts: the command targets the page instance, and no BYO, Connect or runtime source hardcodes api.commonly.me.
Not in this PR
The docs pages (frontend/src/content/guides.json, docs/) still contain literal https://api.commonly.me examples inside code blocks. They are published copy and document the hosted instance, so they are left out of this small PR. The invariant test scans source components only.

The PR adds a shared utility that generates daemon setup commands with the configured API URL. BYO and runtime grants use the generated command. Scout’s onboarding command and the Connect documentation specify an API instance. Tests check command generation and its use.

The helper builds a CLI installation and daemon registration command with the API URL as the login instance and removes trailing slashes. Tests check the configured instance and check setup page sources for hard-coded API URLs.
Both components use the generated command in setup instructions. BYO displays and copies the generated command. The runtime grants test compares the displayed command with the helper output.

Scout’s login command specifies the API instance. Tests generate expected commands from the shared template. The Connect documentation specifies the commonly.me API instance.
Team-Commonly/commonly#2527: This PR adds the runtime grants component whose setup instruction now uses the shared command helper.
Team-Commonly/commonly#2568: This PR updates BYO and Connect commands to use the configured API URL and --instance.
Team-Commonly/commonly#2550: This PR documents the BYO computer setup command, which now includes the page’s API instance.

If BYO reverts to a bare commonly login, this test still passes. The helper test checks only the helper, and this assertion excludes only a hardcoded production host. Add a BYO render-and-copy test that sets a development API URL and requires commonly login --instance with that URL. As per path instructions, “A test that would still pass with the fix reverted is not a test (rule 1).”

The Scout prompt repeats the computer command, and its test read a constant
that the helper replaced. The prompt now names the public instance explicitly,
and the test derives the expected command from the helper's template.

The signup flow installs Scout for every new workspace and does not restrict it to api.commonly.me. Only the hosted-start button is gated by hostedEngineAvailable(). On a non-public instance, Scout can therefore give users a command that registers their computer with the wrong instance.
Build the Scout prompt from the active instance URL and add a non-public-instance test.

Scout is installed on every instance, so its computer command names a placeholder
for the instance's API URL, not commonly.me (CodeRabbit on #2727). The docs site
describes commonly.me and names it. Both tests now read the command template
from the helper through one shared fixture, not a constant the page no longer has.

CodeRabbit (scout.ts:136, Scout is installed on every instance): valid, fixed in b10bea5. Scout's copy now names a placeholder, <API URL of this instance>, with the note that on commonly.me the URL is https://api.commonly.me. The test derives the expected command from the helper template with that placeholder and asserts the prompt does not bind the command to the production host.
The docsSiteFacts failure was the same stale constant. The docs site describes commonly.me, so connect.mdx names https://api.commonly.me explicitly, and the test checks it against the helper template.
Shell-quote the configured API URL before interpolation.
A non-empty REACT_APP_API_URL can contain whitespace or shell syntax and is returned unchanged on the supported environment paths. If a user executes the displayed or copied command, syntax such as $() can execute before the CLI receives the argument.

Update daemonSetupCommand to shell-quote the trailing-slash-trimmed apiUrl

Tell the user to replace the instance placeholder.
The command contains shell redirection characters in <API URL of this instance>. Copying it as shown can fail before commonly login runs, so it cannot register the computer. Add an explicit replacement instruction.

Code gate: PASS. Checked out this exact head in /private/tmp/lark-gate. No blocking defect found.
Both BYO's displayed/copied setup command and the runtime setup hint now use getApiBaseUrl through daemonSetupCommand, with explicit --instance and trailing slashes removed. Connect already uses the same API-base resolver. Traced CLI consumption: resolveLoginTarget resolves the explicit URL, saveInstance makes the selected profile active, and daemon register obtains that active instance through resolveInstanceUrl when no override is supplied. Scout uses an instance placeholder with the hosted URL explained separately; the hosted docs command supplies the explicit hosted instance.
Verification, Node 22:
Fresh PATH=/opt/homebrew/opt/node@22/bin:$PATH npm ci --no-audit --no-fund in frontend and backend.
Backend: the same Jest command with __tests__/unit/config/nativeAgents.scoutKnowledge.test.js __tests__/unit/scripts/docsSiteFacts.test.js: 26/26.
Two temporary independent component probes, selected with -t 'Lark probe': 2/2. BYO renders a literal self-hosted API URL with a path and trailing slashes normalized, and clipboard receives exactly that displayed command. Runtime renders its own literal non-production API URL. These checks do not derive their expected strings from the helper under test.
Scoped mutations, restored individually: removing --instance from the helper fails the invariant and both independent component probes (3 failures); replacing only BYO's clipboard value with the old bare-login command fails its independent clipboard assertion (1); removing the instance argument from Scout fails its copy contract (1); removing it from the docs command fails its docs contract (1). The restored independent probes pass 2/2.
No CSS/layout changes, daemon registration, real login or live browser session were exercised. Exact head source restored, temporary probes removed, checkout clean. Probe copies and logs are retained at /private/tmp/lark-2727-*. At final read the PR is CLEAN/MERGEABLE and all CI/CodeRabbit checks are green or intentionally skipped.
