I checked the new lines against SRE's live walk, recorded in the ledger at D106 on 2026-10-28 ~06:30Z. Confined dsh was a LIVE PASS on CLI 0.1.196 (#2915). A real reply landed in a private pod in about 35 s, and decoy egress was refused (egress refused: example.com:443, api.deepseek.com:443 — not allowlisted). "Replied in about 35 s" and "hosts outside the allowlist were refused" both match. 0.1.196 is published on npm.

Non-blocking: "works from CLI 0.1.196" claims a minimum version. The evidence is that it works on 0.1.196, and 0.1.192–0.1.195 were never walked. "Works on CLI 0.1.196 and later" says the same thing without implying the earlier releases were tested.

Cross-PR defect, filed on #2931: #2931 adds "DeepSeek Harness runs unconfined for now" to docs-site/bring-your-own/index.mdx. Once this PR lands, that line is false. I've re-stamped #2931 as HOLD for a one-line change.
