fix(identity): keep a product agent's curated label that matches its name (TASK-551) - #2990
resolveAgentDisplayLabel treated a displayName equal to the agentName on a non-default instance as a runtime leak. A per-user Scout (displayName: 'Scout', agentName: 'scout') therefore rendered its raw instance id. The name-match rule now applies only to shared runtime names.
Beyond the cherry-pick
The shared-runtime set is openclaw, codex, claude-code, not openclaw alone. A codex seat created without a displayName takes AGENT_TYPES.codex.officialDisplayName ('Codex', agentIdentityService.ts). With openclaw alone it would render 'Codex' where main shows the instance id. The constant also moves above the resolver's doc comment.
Visible change for claude-code seats. A claude-code seat created without a displayName takes 'Claude Code'. main's compare does not match that to claude-code, so the runtime label shows. This PR's sameName folds case, spaces and hyphens for the shared-runtime names, so those seats now show their instance id, as codex seats already do on main. A displayName that is not the same after folding is unaffected.
The set comment names commonly-bot and commonly-summarizer as product agents: their displayName shows even when it equals their agentName.

…name (TASK-551)
The bare displayName===agentName leak rule was written for the shared
openclaw runtime. It also matched Scout ('Scout' on agentName 'scout'),
so every per-user Scout showed its raw instance id. The rule now applies
only to shared runtime names.

The split keeps only openclaw in SHARED_RUNTIME_AGENT_NAMES. A codex seat
created without a displayName takes AGENT_TYPES.codex.officialDisplayName
('Codex', agentIdentityService.ts), which now renders as 'Codex' where it
rendered the instance id before. codex is a shared runtime, so it stays in
the set, and claude-code joins it for the same reason. The constant moves
above the resolver's doc comment, so the comment sits on the function.

The display-label resolver now treats a bare label matching agentName as leaked only for openclaw, codex, and claude-code. The name comparison ignores case, spaces, and hyphens. Tests cover retaining a matching Scout label and using instance IDs for shared runtime labels.
Bare-name leak detection for non-default instances now applies only to openclaw, codex, and claude-code. The comparison ignores case, spaces, and hyphens. Tests cover retaining Scout and falling back to cody or ops for matching shared runtime labels. The parenthesized leak check and fallback chain are unchanged.

Explanation
The description is directly related to the changeset. It explains that the resolver fix from #2737 is split onto a branch from main, and that displayName equal to agentName on a non-default instance was treated as a runtime leak. It names the shared-runtime set (openclaw, codex, claude-code), the claude-code visible behavior change, the commits, the tests, and the deferred follow-up work. This matches the raw summary of resolveAgentDisplayLabel and the added tests, so the check passes.

The claude-code entry adds a distinct reachable branch. The current display-label tests cover openclaw and codex, but not claude-code. Add a case with agentName: 'CLAUDE-CODE', displayName: 'Claude-Code', and a non-default instance ID. Assert that the resolver returns the instance ID.

Add a test for the claude-code runtime guard alongside the existing
display-label cases in the relevant test suite. Use agentName “CLAUDE-CODE”,
displayName “Claude-Code”, and a non-default instance ID, and assert that the
resolver returns the instance ID.

Review of #2990 at 01e0b45 (TASK-551, backend half of the #2988 label fix).
Runtime names are never shown as a label: holds. The leak check now requires SHARED_RUNTIME_AGENT_NAMES.has(agentName) (openclaw, codex, claude-code). A displayName equal to one of those is still rejected, and then the chain falls through to instanceId. A seat with no displayName gets an empty display and falls through the same way. The second leak form, <agentName> (<instanceId>), is unchanged and applies to every agentName.
Product agent keeps its curated label: holds.Scout on agentName scout is no longer in the set, so Scout is returned.
Each test fails if the branch is reverted:
Scout test: passes on the fix and fails on revert. Reverting restores the unconditional leak check, which returns ubd1004e0d7, so the assertion for Scout fails.
Codex test: does not fail on revert. The codex fixture is displayName: 'Codex' on agentName codex. The pre-fix code also rejects it and returns cody, so the test passes on both the fix and the reverted code. It only guards removing codex from the set. If the ask is that each test catches a revert, this one does not, and a claude-code or openclaw case has the same gap. Keep it as a set-membership test if you want, but then the Scout test is the only revert guard.
Narrowing drops a previously caught name (minor, not blocking).AGENT_TYPES also has commonly-bot and commonly-summarizer. Before this PR, a displayName equal to either agentName fell through to instanceId. Now it shows, so a seat with that displayName would show the raw runtime-style name. The description names only openclaw, codex and claude-code, so this may be intentional. If it is, say so in the set comment.

Commit 2 added claude-code to the shared-runtime set with no test that
fails if the entry is dropped. This adds that test, plus one for the
officialDisplayName 'Claude Code', which the exact name compare missed.
- sameName ignores case, spaces and hyphens, so 'Claude Code' is the same
leak as the agentName 'claude-code'.
- The set comment names commonly-bot and commonly-summarizer as product
agents: their displayName shows even when it equals their agentName.

Make this test distinguish the new behavior.
The displayName: 'claude-code' assertion also passes with the previous resolver, which rejected bare names for every non-default agent. It does not verify the new shared-runtime restriction. Remove this redundant test or replace it with a case that fails when the change is reverted. The Claude Code test below provides that coverage.
As per path instructions, a test that passes with the fix reverted is not a test.

M2 and M4 are the two guards requested in 113236. Each of the five mutations fails at least one test.
Unmutated HEAD: the agentIdentityService suites pass under Node 22 (7 suites, 75 tests); the resolver file is 17 of them.
codex removed from the set: the codex leak test fails. Holds (M1).
claude-code removed from the set: the claude-code runtime-name test and the 'Claude Code' test both fail. Holds (M2).
sameName replaced by an exact compare: the 'Claude Code' test fails, since 'Claude Code' !== 'claude-code' and the leak is missed. Holds (M4).
Revert of the whole branch. Restoring the main resolver fails the Scout test and the 'Claude Code' test. Holds (M5). Forcing the leak clause true fails the Scout test and the default-instance, most-preferred, shared-prefix and normal-label tests. Holds (M3).
Defect: two of the new tests do not guard the branch, only their set entries. The codex test and the claude-code runtime-name test pass on the main resolver. They fail only when their entry is dropped. That is what M1 and M2 measure, and it is a valid guard for the set. It is not a guard for reverting the whole change. If the ask is that each new test fails on a full revert, these two do not. The Scout test is the only one that does. I read the set-entry guard as meeting the ask.
Not blocking. The comment says commonly-bot and commonly-summarizer show their displayName when it equals their agentName. No test pins that. Adding one would turn the comment into a guard.
I did not re-run the test suite. I confirmed the diff and the mutation table, and the CI result comes from gh pr checks.
