#2560 TASK-418 code gate at cef29f2: PASS
The credential DELETE route captures descendant runtime hashes before cascade revocation, then removes each hash from the User and every installation through the existing revoke helper. Runtime auth checks the credential ledger first, so a revoked row denies a bearer even if cleanup fails. The roster now selects token hashes and excludes embedded copies whose ledger row is revoked or expired; it still accepts pre-ledger keys. The roster payload does not expose those hashes.
At this exact head, the runtime-token revoke, machine revoke, roster route, and connection-state suites pass 43/43 under Node 22. The Settings revoke regression asserts token removal from both stores, a 401 on the revoked bearer, retained ledger history, and a revoked roster state. Rhea's security gate and the remaining CI jobs are separate.

Cover installation-token removal in the daemon-child revocation test.
The addRuntimeChild fixture stores the child token only on the bot User. Its AgentInstallation gets no runtimeTokens entry. The assertion at line 171 therefore checks only the User copy. A regression that leaves the daemon child's installation token in place would still pass this test. Extend the existing test to seed an installation token copy and assert that the daemon revoke removes it.

#2560 SECURITY GATE: HOLD at cef29f2
One remaining defect in the requested embedded-copy cleanup property: the descendant hash snapshot can miss a child that the subsequent cascade revokes (backend/routes/credentials.ts:129–141).
Reproduction through the actual Settings DELETE route, daemon /runtime-token route and daemon/runtime auth, using real MongoDB:
- Settings finishes collecting descendant hashes for an active daemon with no children, then pauses before
revokeCascade. - The daemon mints a child through the actual route. It returns 201 after its issuer/machine rechecks; the child authenticates and the roster shows Connected.
- Resume the actual cascade. Settings returns 200 and the child ledger row becomes revoked, but its embedded User copy remains:
{ users: 1, installations: 0 }, where the cleanup contract requires both counts zero. The daemon route normally writes only the User copy.
The two walks observe different descendant sets. Collect/clean the children actually covered by revocation, with a regression for this interleaving. This is a cleanup-contract hold, not a demonstrated authentication or Connected-state bypass: after the race, actual runtime auth returns 401 and the actual roster returns { state: 'revoked', lastSeenAt: null }.
Independent validation: the four changed test suites pass, 43/43. My separate five-case service probe passes four cases and fails only the expected User-copy count above. Passing cases exercise stale User-only, installation-only and both-store copies against the actual auth and roster; Settings cleanup across active and uninstalled sibling installations; legacy keys; and a fresh key after revocation. Existing authorization and pod-removal controls also pass in the committed suite. Regeneration/removal implementation is unchanged by this PR.
Scope: full seven-file merge-base diff (+72/-9), surrounding issuer/auth/roster code, clean diff check and exact archive-byte verification. Base/current fetched main: 854e677. Review rubric/checklist unchanged from the preceding gate. CI checks are successful or skipped at inspection; live PR head still matches. Local Node 22/Jest with real MongoDB 7.0.14, dummy credentials, mocked signed-in-human middleware and starter-task side effects. No live daemon, browser, production database or deployment walk. An initial lower-level issuer probe was replaced with the actual daemon-route reproduction above; its additional installation copy is not claimed as daemon-route behavior.

#2560 at 9f3d617 — code gate PASS.
The revoke route now cascades before enumerating descendant hashes for embedded-token cleanup. This includes a runtime child minted after the old pre-cascade snapshot; cleanup removes its User and AgentInstallation copies. The existing daemon mint recheck rejects a child issued after its parent is revoked. My prior code PASS at cef29f2 covers the unchanged code.
Verified the exact-head machine revocation service suite 10/10. The new actual-route race test fails against the previous route implementation (User retains one token copy) and passes at this head. git diff --check passes. Rhea's security gate is separate.

#2560 SECURITY GATE: PASS at 9f3d617
Closes my cleanup-race HOLD in review 5636216375. Settings now completes the credential cascade before collecting descendant hashes, so the child minted before the cascade is included in embedded-copy cleanup.
Independent reproduction through the actual Settings DELETE, daemon mint route, daemon/runtime auth and roster, with real MongoDB: mint the child immediately before the actual cascade; confirm mint 201, runtime auth 200 and Connected; resume revocation; confirm Settings 200, revoked child ledger, zero User/installation copies, runtime auth 401 and roster Revoked. The daemon route writes only the User copy; the separate ordinary-token case verifies removal from both stores, including an uninstalled sibling installation.
Validation: all five selected suites pass, 49/49 (44 committed tests plus my five service cases). These include stale User-only, installation-only and both-store copies; legacy keys; fresh issuance after revoke; existing authorization, machine revocation and pod-removal controls. Restoring only the previous credentials route makes both the committed new race test and my independent race test fail on the intended retained User copy (2 failures, 13 passes). Restored exact bytes and reran those two suites: 15/15 pass. Regeneration/removal implementation remains unchanged. The daemon mint route's existing final parent/machine recheck and cleanup were source-checked; that distinct late-write interleaving was not newly exercised here.
Scope: full seven-file merge-base change +106/-9; all five unchanged files carried byte-for-byte from the prior full review, both correction files read, diff check clean, all seven archive files verified against the exact head. Base: 854e677; fetched main: 3852c33. Review rubric/checklist unchanged. Node 22/Jest with real MongoDB 7.0.14 and dummy credentials; my signed-in-human middleware and starter-task side effects are mocked. No live daemon, browser, production database or deployment walk. CI service tests were still running and CodeRabbit pending at inspection; other checks succeeded or skipped. PR body's 43-test count should now be 44 for its four focused suites.

130-130: 🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration |Trivial | ⚡ Quick win Add a test for a mint that completes after the daemon is revoked.
The mint handler re-checks the issuing daemon after it persists the child. If the daemon is no longer active, it revokes the minted token everywhere and returns
401. The changed test mints beforeoriginalCascadestarts, so the daemon is still active at that check and this branch does not run. The machine-removal mint test inagentBinding.phase2.test.jspauses the daemon lookup before issuance, so it returns401earlier and also does not reach the post-persist check.Add a test that pauses the mint after
issueRuntimeTokenForAgentpersists the child, revokes the daemon, and then resumes the mint. Assert that the response is401, that the child credential isrevoked, and that no User or installation copies of the minted token remain. A child persisted after the cascade and its hash traversal is not collected by either traversal. The mint re-check is the only cleanup for that ordering, so this test guards it.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents
