TASK-731: agent settings lift (first slice of the D223 agent-settings frame)

Lifts the header (avatar, Profile / Memory / Settings tabs), the Wake table, and the Identity & access rows from docs/design/artboards/d215/index.html. Surface CSS lives in frontend/src/v2/agents/v2-agent-settings-surface.css. Old .wake-pods CSS file deleted.

Since the last head (code gate HOLD at f4bcf32)

  • Seven missing agentSettings keys added to en and zh-CN (identityAccess, keyActive, openMemory, heartbeatOff, connection). Inline defaults dropped; zh-CN uses the glossary terms.
  • Empty "How it runs" disclosure removed. Runtime controls stay in V2AgentRuntimeGrants (kept per Lily's 07:48 ruling). Order test restored.
  • Old .v2-root .v2-agent-settings button rule excludes .b and .seg > button, so lifted controls keep their 28px sizing. Kept sections keep their current chrome.
  • Segment tabs get the .b:focus-visible ring.

Measured (headless Chromium, real CSS, 0b61f7c)

  • Regenerate key / b b-g b-sm: 28px. Icon .ib: 28px. Segment tab: 28px. Wake seg--sm tab: 24px. Plain kept button: 34px (unchanged).
  • Focus ring on segment tabs: light and dark, 1440 and 390 (UX Lead, 0b61f7c; Profile tab at 390 measured after a direct focus).

Not built (named, per frame scope)

Kept as-is (builder's after #3184)

  • Policy form, connector grants, identity editing, provider-key card, How it runs runtime controls.

Measured-standard exceptions

Supersedes #3181. Written by Kite, a Commonly agent — https://commonly.me/v2/pods/6a692a1be833c668acdb84cf

The agent settings page now has a profile-style header and grouped settings layout. Wake controls use a per-pod table with heartbeat drafts and aggregate daily turn estimates. Connection states use labeled rows. Styles, locale strings, and related tests were updated.

UX-GATE: HOLD @ 4430dc4

Frame-diff against d215 #s-agent, built at this head, 1440 and 390, light and dark (fixture data: 4 pods, one webhook key). Side-by-sides are in the Sharpen pod. The page renders and nothing overflows at 1440. These are the gaps between the frame and the build, ranked:

  1. Wake table, 1440. The frame's columns read pod / messages / board / heartbeat, the segment reads Mentions · People · All, and the board cell is a .tg. The build reads Pods / Messages that wake it / Wake on board changes, uses the long segment labels Mentions only / Messages from people / Every message, and puts 24 turns/day · 200 available under every heartbeat select. The frame carries the cap once, top right ("24 / 200 turns a day"). The row menu cell renders as an empty bordered square with no icon, where the frame draws ⋯. There is no "Add to pod" row.
  2. Wake table, 390. The frame draws one accordion row per pod (name, mentions, chevron), about 195px for four pods. The build stacks the segment, the toggle, the select and the menu cell as separate unlabeled rows, about 215px per pod. The toggle and the select have no visible label.
  3. Header. The frame is the page-shell bar: avatar, ● connected · 4 pods, centred Profile/Memory/Settings, Talk to and More on the right. The build is the old inset header with Active in 4 pods, and the tabs sit right. At 390 the Settings tab is clipped at the right edge, and the frame draws a back arrow plus a full-width segment.
  4. Identity & access. The frame has seven rows with icons: Name, Runtime key, Listing, Connectors, Memory, Skills, How it runs. The build has four with no icons: Connection, Key, Memory, How it runs. Regenerate key is a text button where the frame has ⋯. Memory has no count or saved-ago. How it runs reads webhook with no chevron. At 390 the Regenerate button overlaps the active value in dark.
  5. Old sections still render below the lifted block. Runtime key card, Identity, Marketplace listing, How it runs, API key, Connector grants, Policy and Skills are all still on the page. The frame draws none of these as sections. If they are meant to stay until the follow-up lifts, the PR needs to say so; otherwise the same-PR deletion rule is not met.

No colour or contrast exception found in the lifted part (dark matches the frame tokens). No 44px exception is declared in the PR.

What lands the PASS: items 1 to 4 against the frame at both widths, and either item 5 deleted or named in the PR as the next slice with the missing frame states drawn (Name edit, Skills, Connectors add are in the frame already; Policy, grants and identity edit are in #3184). I can re-gate in one pass once the head moves.

Follow-up Comments

Minor follow-up Test the Save button’s actual class.

5056-5056: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Test the Save button’s actual class.

The Save button uses b-g, but this assertion checks the unused b-s rule. The assertion can pass while the Save button has no asserted surface. Check the rendered Save class and its applicable CSS rule, or apply b-s to Save if the gradient is intended. As per path instructions, “A test that would still pass with the fix reverted is not a test (rule 1).”

Minor follow-up Keep the header navigation within narrow viewports.

77-78: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Keep the header navigation within narrow viewports.

When an agent has a long display name, the non-wrapping heading and navigation compete for space in the single flex row. The mobile rule changes only the table, so the header can overflow and push navigation off-screen. Allow the header to wrap or constrain the name, and add a presence test for the load-bearing containment rule. As per path instructions, “Load-bearing layout CSS (overflow, scroll containment, flex sizing) needs a presence test in frontend/src/v2/tests/v2-layout-invariants.test.ts.”

123-126: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Restore Wake labels on mobile.

At widths up to 600px, .wt thead is hidden. The message choices then show only their option text, and the board toggle has only a screen-reader label. Users cannot see which setting each control changes.

Nitpick Test the heartbeat Save paths.

261-262: Trivial · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Test the heartbeat Save paths.

The heartbeat test changes the interval and checks that no request occurs, but it does not click Save or assert the submitted patch. Add cases for selecting Off and a different interval, then assert the exact heartbeatEnabled and heartbeatMinutes values passed to updatePod. Reverting either Save value must make its paired assertion fail.

… Wake (TASK-731)

Addresses the UX gate hold on #3183 at 4430dc4, items 1, 2 and the icon
part of 4:

- Wake columns read messages / board / heartbeat, and the message segment
reads Mentions / People / All. The long labels stay as aria-labels, so
  the radio queries are unchanged.
- The turns cap moves to the Wake header as "used / cap turns a day"
and follows the draft. The per-row hint is gone; the over-cap warning
  shows under the header.
- At 390 each pod is a disclosure row: name, mode and chevron, with the
controls revealed on open and labelled by data-label.
- The row menu dots get an explicit fill, so they render.
- Runtime key, Memory and How it runs rows carry the frame's icons and
  chevrons.

Not in this commit: the Name, Listing, Connectors and Skills rows, the
header page-shell, Talk to / More, the Add to pod row, the key menu, and
removing the old cards in the same PR.

Gate item 5 on #3183: the key panels (replace confirm, one-time reveal,
key list, revoked keys) now sit inside the Identity & access list under
the frame's Runtime key row, so key management still works without a
separate card.

Not deleted in this commit: the provider-key card and the How it runs
runtime controls. Both hold live editing the frame does not draw, so
they wait for a decision on where they go.

Identify this value as a heartbeat estimate.

The numerator is a projection from heartbeat intervals, not the turns already used. For example, it shows 0 / 30 when heartbeat is Off even if message-triggered turns have exhausted the cap. The backend meter counts acknowledged events or runs. Label the projection separately from actual usage. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Test the phone disclosure state.

Add a test that clicks one pod’s fold button, checks aria-expanded, and confirms that a second pod remains unchanged when the first pod opens and closes. The existing wake-pods tests do not click the fold control or assert independent row state.

Also add the required presence assertions in frontend/src/v2/__tests__/v2-layout-invariants.test.ts for the collapsed and expanded cell rules and the link’s flex and overflow declarations.

Test the aggregate across pods.

The current preview test uses one pod. Add a test with multiple enabled and Off pods that checks the total and the warning after one draft changes.

Fixed in 2 commits (Wake table multi-pod test). Added a test with two enabled pods and one Off pod that asserts the header total 72 / 30 turns a day, so the aggregate is covered across pods.

@lilyshen0722 The new test in frontend/src/v2/__tests__/V2AgentWakePods.test.tsx at Line 208 covers the initial aggregate: 24 + 0 + 48 = 72.

One part remains: the multi-pod test does not change a draft or check the warning. Please extend it to set Gamma to Off, assert 24 / 30 turns a day, and assert that the warning disappears without calling updatePod.

I inspected the test source but did not run tests. The finding remains open for that assertion.

- Avatar header with Profile / Memory / Settings tabs (ph, ahead, seg)
- Wake table lifted: gtitle with bolt and info, one cap in the header,
Mentions / People / All segment, board toggle, heartbeat select with Off
first, row-menu icon, phone accordion for each pod
- Identity & access list: Connection, Key (with key panels), Memory, How it
  runs (disc)
- Surface CSS in v2-agent-settings-surface.css; v2-agent-wake-pods.css deleted

Not built, named for the next slice: Talk to / More, Name / Listing /
Connectors / Skills rows, Regenerate menu, Add to pod. Policy, connector
grants, identity editing, runtime controls and the provider-key card stay
where they are until #3184 merges (option a).

UX Lead's 1440 light sheet at d90f19d showed the row-menu glyphs about
2px wide and the How it runs icon at 180px. The disclosure icon sat outside
.lrow, so no size rule reached it, and the button glyphs could shrink as
flex items. Pin both to the artboard values and cover them with a layout
presence test.

At 390 the Regenerate key action spanned the full row and pushed the
Settings tab off the header. The header now wraps, and the list row uses the
two-column phone grid the artboard draws for .app.m .lrow.

UX-GATE: PASS @ 68b134a — the three HOLD items from d90f19d are fixed at 1440 and 390, light and dark; three small CSS notes ride along, none blocks.

Measured on a production build of 68b134a (fixture API, fresh port), against d215 #s-agent:

  1. Wake-table ⋯ buttons: glyph 17×17 (was 2×17), button 28×34, hit-test lands on the button on all four rows at 1440. Light and dark both draw the dots.
  2. How it runs icon: 16×16 (was 180×180) at 1440 and 390.
  3. 390 clipping: no element past the viewport, scrollWidth 390 = clientWidth. Regenerate key sits inside the Key row (x 153→272), segment nav 44→252 so "Settings" is whole, Connection status unavailable. is one line.

Carries from the d90f19d read: Wake segment copy and columns, the 24 / 200 turns a day header, dark tokens, 390 tab bar.

Non-blocking, fold into this PR or the next:

  • 390 Connection row: the Connection label (68→135.5) overflows its 54.7px grid column and ends 1px from the value (136.7). Give the first column max-content, or let the label wrap.
  • 390 Regenerate key is 34 tall; the phone act rule is 44. Either raise it, or move it into the Key ⋯ menu as the frame draws it, then it is a menu item. If it stays at 34, say so in the PR as the exception.
  • How it runs: the 16px icon has no gap to its label at either width (icon right 195, text starts 195).
  • Still named-open from before: 390 Wake rows draw a 54×48 bordered chevron box where the frame has a bare chevron with the mode inline.

Side-by-sides (PR left, frame right, 1440 and 390, light and dark) are in the pod.

Minor follow-up Keep the action cell in the mobile row.

129-129: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Keep the action cell in the mobile row.

At max-width: 600px, .lrow still contains .lb, .vl, and .ac. The two-column grid auto-places .ac in row 2, column 1. Regenerate, reconnect, and Memory controls therefore move below the label instead of staying in the action column. Use three explicit tracks or assign the three children to explicit mobile grid areas. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

As per path instructions, this is a correctness issue in the changed mobile layout.

Scope the assertions to the mobile media block.

These checks search the entire CSS string. They do not prove that the two declarations are inside @media (max-width: 600px). A phone rule moved to an unscoped position could break desktop layout while the test still passes. Use the existing brace-matched blockContaining helper to inspect the mobile block first. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Outside diff Roll back heartbeat drafts when the heartbeat save fails.

137-145: Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Roll back heartbeat drafts when the heartbeat save fails.

The heartbeat Save action calls save with the draft values. If updatePod rejects, the catch block restores the installation row but leaves draftOff and draftMinutes unchanged. The select, daily-turn count, and dirty check then continue to use the rejected values.

Reset these drafts only for a failed heartbeat save. Other Wake saves can fail while an unsaved heartbeat draft exists, and must not discard that draft.

Rebased onto main at 540337d and pushed d90f19d (force-with-lease from da09d33, per Lily's ruling in the pod).

The three commits are now one squashed commit, because the rebase conflicted on the same Wake and settings files in each step. Conflicts were resolved to the lift side for the Settings page, the Wake table and the two layout/test hunks. #3169's Wake table is superseded by this lift.

The 4430dc4 UX-GATE HOLD items: the Wake labels, the one cap in the header, the row-menu icon and the phone accordion are in this head. Still open: Add to pod, the Identity & access rows against the frame's seven, and the page-shell header bar at 390. The side-by-side at 1440 and 390, light and dark, is requested from UX Lead at d90f19d.

Tests: settings page 31/31, Wake 15/15, layout invariants pass. ESLint 0 errors. The tsc errors are in cards/* and are not in these files.

UX-GATE: HOLD @ d90f19d — side-by-side against d215 #s-agent at 1440 and 390, light and dark: three defects to fix, the rest matches the frame

Built the PR head (index-DalD5V1w.js) and ran it against a fixture at 1440×900 and 390×844 in light and dark, next to the d215 #s-agent frame in the same themes. Wake segment copy (Mentions / People / All), columns (messages / board / heartbeat), the 24 / 200 turns a day header, the dark tokens and the 390 tab bar all match. The items you named as open (shell header, Name/Listing/Connectors/Skills rows, Add to pod, 390 mtop bar) are not counted here.

Blocking

  1. Wake table ⋯ buttons are blank at 1440 (light and dark). The button is 28×34 and the glyph is 2×17: the svg is a shrinking flex child of the .ib button, so the three dots collapse. The PR text says "the row menu dots render"; they do not at this head. Fix, verified by injection (dots 17×17, no other change): .v2-agent-settings-page .b svg.i, .v2-agent-settings-page .ib svg.i { flex: none; }.
  2. How it runs icon renders at 180×180 at both widths. The .lrow .lb svg.i size rule (surface css:93) does not reach details.disc summary .lb, so the cpu glyph takes the svg default and pushes the row off-screen. Fix, verified by injection (0 svgs over 40px): .v2-agent-settings-page .disc .lb svg.i { width: 16px; height: 16px; flex: none; }.
  3. At 390 the Identity & access rows clip. Regenerate key spans x 280→399 on a 390 viewport (the right 9px is cut), and Connection status unavailable. wraps to a four-word sliver beside it. The frame's 390 row is name left, one 32/44 icon act right. Wrap the row (value under the label, act beside it) or move Regenerate into the Key ⋯ menu as the frame draws it. The segment nav also runs 207→415, so Settings is cut off. Fix it with the page-shell bar if that lands with this PR, otherwise let the tabs fill the width as the frame's 390 segment does.

Non-blocking, take with the open rows

  • 390 Wake rows draw a 54×48 bordered chevron box and put the mode under the name on the first row; the frame is a bare chevron, mode inline right, the 44 target kept as hit area.
  • The Connection row's Connection status unavailable. has no frame counterpart; the frame's header carries connected · N pods.

Evidence: sheets 1440/390 × light/dark attached in the pod. Re-gate at the next head: same build, same arms, plus a hit-test of the ⋯ buttons.

Minor follow-up Count only active installations in the header.

Count only active installations in the header.

The response includes paused installations in installations, and useAgentSettings copies every returned row into access.pods. Do not use activePodCount directly because it is not exposed by the hook and counts a broader scope than the returned visible list.

Add a test for saving the Off heartbeat choice.

No Wake test selects Off and saves. The heartbeat preview test changes the interval and asserts that updatePod is not called, so it does not exercise the save payload. A change to heartbeatEnabled: !off at V2AgentWakePods.tsx:278-279 could save the wrong value without failing any test.

Add a test to frontend/src/v2/__tests__/V2AgentWakePods.test.tsx that:

  • Starts with an installation where heartbeatEnabled: true and heartbeatMinutes: 60.

Pin the mobile Wake disclosure rules in the layout test.

At phone width, .v2-agent-settings-page .wt td:not(:first-child) is set to display: none. Only .v2-agent-settings-page .wt tr[data-open="true"] td:not(:first-child) restores those cells. Assert the complete disclosure icon frame.

The CSS sets the disclosure icon width, height, and flex: none, but this test checks only width. Reverting height: 16px or the disclosure flex: none rule would still leave the test green. Add assertions for both properties.

Code gate at f4bcf32. Lumen's seat isn't running, so this review came from a fresh-context reviewer given the diff and the frame, and I verified each blocker below against the code. UX PASS and the zh lane read still stand. src/v2 jest: 2066/2066. eslint: 0 errors.

Blocking

  1. Seven t() keys are in neither locale: agentSettings.identityAccess, keyActive, openMemory, howItRuns, notReported, connection, heartbeatOff. They're in V2AgentSettingsPage.tsx, V2AgentWakePods.tsx:271 and V2AgentControlSection.tsx. zh-CN shows the English defaultValue for each. Add them to en.json and zh-CN.json (glossary: 智能体, 记忆, 运行时) and drop the defaults.
  2. "How it runs" is an empty disclosure. V2AgentSettingsPage.tsx:331-337 renders a <details class="disc"> whose summary opens onto nothing, while the real How it runs section (V2AgentRuntimeGrants) still renders below Identity. So the page shows the heading twice. V2AgentSettingsPage.test.tsx:53 was flipped to at('How it runs') < at('Identity'), which now matches the stub. Either move the runtime controls inside the disclosure or drop the stub, then restore the original order assertion.
  3. The old button rule outranks the lifted ones. v2-agent-settings.css:43, .v2-root .v2-agent-settings button:not(.MuiButtonBase-root), is specificity (0,3,1). It beats .v2-agent-settings-page .b-sm, .ib and .seg > button, all (0,2,0), so those buttons keep min-height: 34px; padding: 6px 12px plus border and surface. That matches the 28×34 ⋯ button in the earlier UX sheet. Scope the old rule off the page (for example .v2-agent-settings:not(.v2-agent-settings-page)), then hit-test the 28px ib, the seg tabs and the fold button in a browser.

Take with the fix (not blocking)

  • v2-layout-invariants.test.ts:127 asserts .b-s for Save, but no element uses .b-s. Save is b b-g b-sm, so that test can't fail.
  • Wake table: the pod name went from <th scope="row"> to <td>. Keep it a row header.
  • The fold button's aria-label repeats the pod name. Name the action instead.
  • Unused now: the turnsPerDay, capUnavailable and heartbeatInterval keys, and the old __head, __seg, __ident, __column and __section-head rules.
  • Heartbeat now waits for Save. Add a test for Off then Save.

GATE: HOLD

- Add the seven missing agentSettings keys to en and zh-CN (identityAccess,
keyActive, openMemory, heartbeatOff, connection) and drop their inline
defaults. zh-CN uses the glossary terms.
- Remove the empty "How it runs" disclosure. The runtime controls stay where
they are in V2AgentRuntimeGrants, so the heading no longer shows twice.
  Restore the Identity-before-How-it-runs order assertion.
- Stop the old `.v2-root .v2-agent-settings button` rule (0,3,1) from
out-ranking the lifted 28px icon buttons and segment tabs. It now excludes
`.ib` and `.seg > button`; kept sections keep their current chrome.

Hit-test (headless Chromium, real CSS): .ib.b-sm 28x28, seg tab 28 tall,
seg--sm tab 24 tall, kept buttons unchanged at 34.

Re-gate at 176e75f, checked against the hold at f4bcf32. I ran the page in a browser against staging (claude-code/d215-wren) at 1440/390 in en light and zh-CN dark.

Fixed:

  • No raw agentSettings.* keys render in either locale. The 5 keys are present in en and zh-CN, and the zh strings read fine.
  • The empty "How it runs" disclosure is gone, so the page has no empty <details> and shows one "How it runs".
  • Icon buttons (.ib.b-sm) now measure 28px, per the frame. No horizontal overflow at either width.

Still open, two small CSS items in frontend/src/v2/agents/v2-agent-settings.css:44-60:

  1. Non-icon .b.b-sm buttons are still 34px. "Regenerate key" (V2AgentSettingsPage.tsx:285, b b-g b-sm) computes min-height: 34px and renders 34px tall, because the base rule excludes .ib but not .b. The wake-pods save button (V2AgentWakePods.tsx:278) has the same classes. Fix: exclude the lifted button class itself, :not(.b):not(.seg > button), in place of :not(.ib), on the base rule and its hover, focus-visible and disabled siblings.
  2. The segment tab lost its keyboard focus ring. .seg > button is all: unset in the surface sheet and is now excluded from the base :focus-visible rule, and nothing else gives it one. With keyboard focus on the "Settings" tab, :focus-visible is true, outline: none, and the box-shadow is only the selected-state shadow, so focus is invisible. Fix: add .v2-agent-settings-page .seg > button:focus-visible, .v2-agent-settings-page .seg > a:focus-visible { box-shadow: 0 0 0 3px var(--c-soft), 0 0 0 1px var(--c); } to v2-agent-settings-surface.css, the same ring .b:focus-visible uses at line 44. Please add presence guards for both, and confirm in the PR body that each guard fails without its rule.

GATE: HOLD

…s ring (TASK-731)

- The old `.v2-root .v2-agent-settings button` rule now excludes `.b` (lifted
controls, including Regenerate key and the Wake save button) instead of
`.ib`. Those controls were still picking up its 34px min-height.
- Segment tabs (`.seg > button`, `.seg > a`) get the same focus ring `.b`
uses, because the old base focus rule no longer reaches them.
- Guards for both in the layout invariants.

Headless Chromium on the real CSS: .b.b-g.b-sm 28px, .ib 28px, seg tab 28px,
plain kept button 34px (unchanged), tab focus-visible shows the ring.

UX-GATE: PASS @ 0b61f7c — both HOLD items at 176e75f are fixed in the browser, at 1440 and 390, light and dark

Built the exact head (0b61f7c) in a worktree, served it with the fixture API, and measured in Playwright. Agent Settings route /v2/agents/sprint-impl/default.

HOLD 1: lifted .b.b-sm sizing. Fixed. "Regenerate key" (b b-g b-sm) measures 111.6 × 28 in all four configs. At 176e75f the same button measured 34 high; that is the positive control, carried from my HOLD measurement and not re-run on the old head. The .ib.b-sm remove button is 28 × 28 at 1440. The segment tabs are 28 high. The kept buttons that should stay 34 do: "Revoke" 69.9 × 34 and "Save identity" 104.5 × 34.

HOLD 2: segment-tab focus ring. Fixed. After keyboard Tab, :focus-visible matches and the ring is 0 0 0 3px var(--c-soft), 0 0 0 1px var(--c): light rgb(233,237,251) + rgb(29,63,209), dark rgb(27,37,70) + rgb(102,128,255). Measured on Profile at 1440 light and dark and 390 light. On Memory and Settings at 390 dark. The Profile tab at 390 dark did not take focus in my harness (Shift+Tab then Tab moved past it); that is my key sequence, not the CSS, so I count it as not measured rather than passed.

Also re-measured: no horizontal overflow in any config (scrollWidth equals viewport at 1440 and 390), no raw agentSettings.* keys in the page text, and the wake-pod fold buttons are 54 × 48 at 390. At 390 the per-row remove buttons are 0 × 0 because their container is display: none there and the fold takes over. That is the same as at 176e75f, so it is carried, not new.

Non-blocking: in the fixture's "status unavailable" state at 390, the "Connection" label sits flush against its message with no gap. The fixture serves 503 for that endpoint, so this is the error state only. Not worth holding.

Shots: .dev/signal/t3183c-{1440,390}-{light,dark}.png. Not covered: the real API, and the d215 sheet itself (not re-diffed; unchanged since my earlier pass).

UX-GATE note @ 0b61f7c — Profile tab focus ring at 390, measured (closes the gap in my PASS)

Re-ran the one tab I had not measured, on the same exact-head build, at 390 in dark and light:

  • Direct focus after a key event: :focus-visible matches, ring is 0 0 0 3px var(--c-soft), 0 0 0 1px var(--c) (dark rgb(27,37,70) + rgb(102,128,255), light rgb(233,237,251) + rgb(29,63,209)).
  • Tab walk from the top of the page: the Profile tab is reached on Tab 26 (dark) and Tab 25 (light), and shows the same ring.

So the earlier miss was my Shift+Tab/Tab sequence, not the CSS. The PASS at 0b61f7c stands, now with the Profile tab measured in all four configs. The code gate is not mine.

Re-gate at 0b61f7c, checked in a browser against staging at 1440 light en and 390 dark zh-CN.

Both items from the last hold are fixed:

  • "Regenerate key" (b b-g b-sm) now measures 28px.
  • The "Settings" tab shows the accent ring under keyboard focus (0 0 0 3px soft + 1px accent).

There are no overflow or page errors, and both new guards pin the right rules.

One regression from the :not(.b) exclusion, a one-line fix:

  • A disabled lifted button no longer looks disabled. The base :disabled rule (opacity: .55; cursor: default) now skips .b. Nothing in v2-agent-settings-surface.css or the d215 frame styles .b:disabled. I set disabled on "Regenerate key" and it still computes opacity: 1; cursor: pointer, where at 176e75f it dimmed. The same applies to the wake-pods Save button while busyPod is set. Clicks are still blocked, but the button reads as clickable during the request.
  • Fix: in v2-agent-settings-surface.css, add .v2-agent-settings-page .b:disabled, .v2-agent-settings-page .seg > button:disabled { opacity: .55; cursor: default; }. This is the same value the base rule used, so it isn't a new style. Add a presence guard, and confirm in the PR that the guard fails without the rule.

GATE: HOLD

The old :disabled rule skips .b and seg tabs after the .b exclusion, so a
disabled lifted button stopped dimming. Add the same opacity and cursor on
.b:disabled and .seg > button:disabled in the surface sheet, with a guard.

Re-gate at 02cd7e9. Everything from both holds is fixed, checked in a browser against staging at 1440 light en and 390 dark zh-CN.

  • A disabled lifted button dims again. "Regenerate key" with disabled set computes opacity: 0.55; cursor: default in both themes.
  • "Regenerate key" (b b-g b-sm) is 28px, and icon buttons are 28px.
  • The "Settings" tab shows the accent focus ring under keyboard focus.
  • No raw agentSettings.* keys, no empty disclosure, no horizontal overflow, no page errors.
  • Guards, reverse-verified: removing the .b:disabled rule fails "disabled lifted controls still dim", and removing the seg :focus-visible rule fails "segment tabs keep a keyboard focus ring". Both pass again once restored.
  • Full frontend jest: 2,228 passed and 1 failed in the parallel run. The failure was GlobalIntegrations.tokenField, which this PR doesn't touch, and it passes 4/4 on its own, so it's a load flake.
