agentRuntimeAuthadds active-installation pod IDs and, for bot-user tokens,agent-adminpods where the agent is a member. The runtime pod read and write routes authorize against this combined list. Qualify DM access if the documentation covers legacy installation tokens, which receive installation IDs only.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Describe the hosted option without saying Commonly executes the agent.
This sentence makes Commonly the agent runtime. Describe the hosted option as a managed adapter that connects to Commonly. Make the same correction in docs-site/agents/runtime-protocol.mdx at Line 125. As per coding guidelines, “Commonly is a rendezvous, not a runtime. Agents connect to Commonly; they don't run inside it.”

Tone pass on the four concept pages, at 79d6949. Facts are untouched; these are wording suggestions for folio to apply. The rules are the ones Sam set for the README: lead with what the reader does, keep paragraphs to two lines, use no semicolons in prose (2 per page now), and avoid "X is not Y, Y is not Z" chains. Words like "projected", "attenuation" and "lineage" read as implementer vocabulary on a concepts page. pods.mdx
agents.mdx
approvals.mdx
permissions.mdx
No change needed in the other files. #2487 is structural, so it doesn't need a tone pass. |

Docs gate at head a82be44bddb2a419cb5463fa74b46eefa274efe2, tree 798bb8660e57945d1628746cfab1b3f81f7d8a9f, merge-base d568bd38a (= origin/main). 14 files, +327/−265.
The concepts rewrites are solid — eight claims checked against main code
I spot-checked past the five asked, all on origin/main:
| page claim | source |
|---|---|
decision classes are strategy, implementation, prioritization |
DecisionRequest.ts:20 DECISION_CLASSES, same three, same order |
| "two to four options" | DecisionRequest.ts:73 validator length >= 2 && length <= 4, message "must contain 2–4 choices" |
| "at most one recommended option" | decisionRequestService.ts:104 recommendedCount in the same validator that rejects a non-boolean recommended |
moves pending → ruled |
DecisionRequest.ts:41 and the :77 enum — exactly those two states |
a typed decision.ruled event |
emitted at decisionRequestService.ts:269, not only asserted in tests |
approval lifecycle flagged → resolved/expired/moot, one-way |
ApprovalAction.ts:25, and the file header states the same ADR-017 lifecycle |
| action classes are creating a pod, connecting a local agent, a connector tool call | ApprovalAction.ts:96 enum ['create_pod','connect_local_agent','tool_call'] — the page says "include", which is honest about growth rather than weasel |
| "approval resolution is human-only and owner-scoped" | ApprovalAction.ts:11 "only a HUMAN writes resolved (no agent token may decide)" |
The sharpest one is the race claim — "return the standing ruling if a second tab races the first choice". That is real and specific: a RULE_LOCK_MS lock token at decisionRequestService.ts:378-388, and the loser gets 409 carrying the standing decision payload (:366, :394), not a bare conflict.
Nothing unwalked is claimed. Zero occurrences of qwen, gemini, goose or cursor across all four concepts pages — including Cursor, which is the name runtimeClaims.test.ts exists to keep out of join-and-chat copy.
Short, and clean on style. 66–72 lines each. No this page, this document, as mentioned, we believe, aims to or might anywhere. A broad first scan showed 8 hits that turned out to be normative or table prose — "An existing AI client should use Commonly tools directly", "May this specific side effect run now?", "a runtime token should never be treated as general human authority" — so I am reporting the words rather than a style finding. title + description frontmatter is the Mintlify convention, not a sentence subtitle.
Defect: this head would ship a duplicated llms.txt entry
Carried in, not authored here, which is why it still has to be said. Lines 17-18 of frontend/public/llms.txt at this head:
- [Connect your agent](https://docs.commonly.me/agents/connect): connect an agent that runs on your own machine
- [Connect your agent](https://docs.commonly.me/agents/connect): connect a local CLI, MCP client, or HTTP runtime to a pod
Same title, same URL, twice. The llmsTxt guard passes 5/5 because it checks that every linked path exists, never that each appears once; a uniqueness assertion I wrote as a probe fails at this head. Full detail is in my #2487 review 5625769684.
And fixing it there does not fix it here. This PR carries a rebased copy of #2487's commit — b1accacec here against a1c3be5ea there, same message, different sha — so #2487 is not an ancestor of this head. git merge-tree on the two reports 0 conflicts, so either merge order works and the second PR's diff just shrinks; but each head currently contains its own copy of the defect. On "each presses on its own PASS": a PASS here is a verdict on a tree that includes the other PR's content, so whichever merges second wants a re-stamp at its post-rebase head rather than inheriting this one.
CI: CLEAN, nothing failed.

🟡 Minor · Qualify the per-pod installation requirement for agent-admin DMs. · pods.mdx:46-52
docs-site/concepts/pods.mdx:46-52
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winQualify the per-pod installation requirement for agent-admin DMs.
agentRuntimeAuthrequires an active installation somewhere for the agent, then adds member DM pod IDs toauthorizedPodIds. Runtime routes can therefore authorize a bot in anagent-adminDM without an installation in that target pod. The current bullet states the opposite for every pod. Theagent-dmrow names DM pods but does not document this exception, so fixing the Agents page alone would leave this page misleading.Suggested fix
- A runtime token without an active installation in the requested pod is not - enough to read or write that pod. + A runtime token needs an active installation somewhere for the agent identity. + For other pods, the installation must be active in the requested pod. An + authorized bot member can read or write an `agent-admin` DM without an + installation in that pod.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

Re-stamp at head de9146510c1333ea372937f9da80bc0d9aee09d5, tree efc57f06424f692125363260d3123da68a3175d4, merge-base 8a5365a0e (= origin/main). Hold lifted.
The rebase did what you said, measured three ways
- Scope is the Concepts pages plus nav: 5 files —
concepts/agents.mdx,concepts/pods.mdx, the two new pages, anddocs.json. The copied PR-A commit is gone; two commits remain. - The shared defect is resolved upstream, not just absent here:
main'sllms.txtnow has exactly oneagents/connectline, and thelists each URL oncearm is onmain. This branch doesn't touch either file. - "The tone edits changed no fact" is true in the strongest form:
git diff a82be44bd de9146510c1333ea372937f9da80bc0d9aee09d5 -- docs-site/concepts docs-site/docs.jsonis empty. The content is byte-identical to the head where I verified it, so there is no fact for a tone edit to have moved.
Every claim is still true, re-checked against the main the branch now sits on
main moved (d568bd38a → 8a5365a0e), so my earlier verification needed re-grounding rather than carrying. The three claim sources — DecisionRequest.ts, ApprovalAction.ts, decisionRequestService.ts — are unchanged across that span, and I re-asserted each anchor at the current tip: DECISION_CLASSES at :20 (and the schema enum at :67 uses that constant rather than a literal), the 2–4 validator at :73, status: 'pending' | 'ruled' at :41, ApprovalStatus at :25, the actionType enum at :96, the human-only invariant at :11, decision.ruled at :269, and RULE_LOCK_MS = 2 * 60 * 1000 at :27.
One claim I can now state exactly rather than approximately. Last time I said a recommendedCount counter exists; at :120-121 it is if (option.recommended === true) recommendedCount += 1; if (recommendedCount > 1) { → throw. So "at most one recommended option" is enforced, not merely counted.
Style and scope re-run at this head rather than inferred from the identity: 68 / 65 / 68 / 71 lines, zero hedging or self-narration hits, zero qwen/gemini/goose/cursor.
Nav is a clean bijection
I walked docs.json and the file tree: 32 nav entries, 32 .mdx files, zero nav entries without a file, zero files missing from nav. Both new pages are navigable.
Two observations, neither a defect
docs.jsondoes more than add two entries — it splits the old "Getting Started" group into Work together and Connectors, which is the audit's target spine rather than extra scope. Worth knowing the diff is a regrouping, not just an append.- The spine table has no Permissions row. The merged audit's target spine lists Work together as "Pods, Agents, Mentions and replies, Task board, Decisions and approvals, Activity, Memory, Invitations and catalog" —
concepts/permissionsis new work this PR adds, not a disposition of an audited page, and the approvals page links to it. Nothing here is wrong; the audit's spine table is now one row behind the nav it describes.
CI: 21 pass, 3 skipping, nothing failed; mergeStateStatus CLEAN.
