Docs gate at head 8fe9eb74b133afee8bf628e7397c95cde3c217a7, tree 571be60ae4f71dd5627d401adf89366a3e8b554f, merge-base fc63afed7. README only, +42/−329, 396 → 109 lines. The base is behind main but README.md has not moved on main since the merge-base, so the diff is honest and nothing of anyone else's is dropped.
Defect: the one claim on this page that main contradicts is the word "Windows"
Line 87: [Codex, OpenCode, Hermes and Windows](https://docs.commonly.me/agents/daemon). That reads Windows as a peer of three walked harnesses, i.e. a destination that works. Four places on main say otherwise:
| source | text |
|---|---|
docs-site/agents/connect.mdx:35 |
"These commands are verified on macOS. Windows is not verified yet." |
docs-site/quickstart.mdx:60-61 |
"Windows is not verified yet; on Windows, use Run it here for now." |
docs/cli/dsh.md:9 |
"Linux and Windows have not been walked." |
docs/cli/opencode.md:13 |
"Linux and Windows haven't been [walked]" |
And docs-site/agents/daemon.mdx — the page this label links to — never names Windows at all; it says only "the supported host". So the label disagrees with its own destination and with the quickstart, which routes Windows users to hosted instead. It is also new: the 396-line README had no Windows mention, so this is introduced here, not inherited.
Dropping "and Windows" fixes both halves at once, since the destination page doesn't claim it either.
A near-miss I should name, because the opposite finding was available: cli/src/lib/sandbox/host-check.js:76 returns windowsSandboxMessage for win32, which looks like "the CLI refuses Windows". It does not — line 74 returns null unless the mode is bwrap or Seatbelt, so that refusal is scoped to sandboxed public seats, not an ordinary private BYO seat. Reading :76 without its enclosing condition would have produced a stronger and wrong claim. The defect above rests on the docs, not on that line.
Everything else in the property checks out
- Harnesses are exactly the five. Word-boundary counts on the new README:
qwen0,pi0,gemini0,goose0. (A first pass matched "pi" four times —api,API,pick; substring, not a mention.) Named: Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode CLI, Hermes, DeepSeek Harness, with DSH correctly carrying "(macOS, private pods)". - Commands. The
claude mcp addblock is byte-identical todocs/MCP_INTEGRATION.md:175-178apart from the token placeholder.install.shexists at the head. The self-host block is the three steps ofSELF_HOST_COMMAND(V2LandingPage.tsx:35) written as three lines rather than one&&chain — and that is guarded, see the mutation table below. - All 10 relative links resolve at this head (
CONTRIBUTING.md,LICENSE,SECURITY.md,docs/adr/,docs/agents/AGENT_RUNTIME.md,docs/architecture/ARCHITECTURE.md,docs/cli/README.md,docs/cli/dsh.md,docs/deployment/SELF_HOSTED.md,docs/MCP_INTEGRATION.md), and all 6<img>targets exist in-tree with 6alt=attributes — 5 frames plus the logo. - Connectors are walked ones. The README names Telegram, Slack and GitHub (in frame alt text). The readiness matrix has Telegram re-walked live 2026-09-27, Slack walked live 2026-09-26/27, GitHub (app) walked 09-25 and 09-26. Discord appears once, as the community invite link, not as a connector claim — which matters, because the matrix has Discord at "partly, listed not offered".
- Free-plan limits: there are none to check. No sentence in the new README mentions a free plan, a limit, a cap or a per-period number, so nothing can disagree with
hostedCaps(hostedRuntimeService.ts:57). Vacuous by absence, which is the strongest form of this one.
The repo's README guards: what they catch, and the one they don't
All four README-reading suites pass at this head — 36 tests. I mutated the README to see which properties they actually hold:
| mutation | result |
|---|---|
strip one frame's alt text |
1 failed (readmeFrames) |
delete ./install.sh from the self-host block |
1 failed |
| add "Gemini CLI" to the harness sentence | 36 passed — not caught |
So the harness list is correct today and unguarded. runtimeClaims.test.ts holds the README to only two things: no /(any|every) (agent )?runtime/ phrasing, and every WSL occurrence sitting inside "Linux, including WSL" — which is vacuous here, since the new README contains zero WSL. The named-harness restriction lives in the i18n JOIN_KEYS (presence of "Claude Code", absence of "Cursor"), not in the README. Given that this file's whole premise is "name only what was walked", and that the defect above is exactly an unwalked platform name slipping in, the guard that fired on the i18n copy in October has no equivalent here.
CI: 20 pass, 3 skipping, nothing pending or failed; mergeStateStatus CLEAN.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winAdd Git, openssl, and free ports to the Quick Start prerequisites.
The Quick Start lists only Docker and Compose v2. The
git clonecommand needs Git. On a fresh checkout, install.shalso needsopensslto create.env, and it exits whenopensslis missing. The local stack publishes ports 3000 and 5000, so both ports must be free. The self-hosting guide lists Git and the ports, but it does not listopenssl.📝 Suggested fix

Re-stamp at head 3b38d49fa336bf222db07ffe973fe00c2323dcd3, tree dd705279935996a4cabab1a1657aad55fbe06d93. Hold lifted.
git diff 8fe9eb74b 3b38d49fa336bf222db07ffe973fe00c2323dcd3 is one line in README.md: [Codex, OpenCode, Hermes and Windows] → [Codex, OpenCode and Hermes]. "Nothing else changed" is accurate, measured rather than taken.
No unwalked platform or harness is named
Word-boundary counts over the README at this head:
windows 0 wsl 0 linux 0 macos 1 ubuntu 0 debian 0
qwen 0 pi 0 gemini 0 goose 0 cursor 0
The single remaining platform mention is the DSH label, and both halves of it are walked claims, which I checked rather than inferring from the absence of the others — an exclusion is not an affirmation. docs/cli/dsh.md:7-9: "The tested release is 0.2.1-rc.2 on macOS… It accepts private seats only. Linux and Windows have not been walked." So "(macOS, private pods)" is supported positively on both the OS and the privacy half.
The daemon link is now harness-only, so it no longer makes a platform claim at all — which is what made the old label wrong, since the page it points at never named Windows either.
Guards green at this head
All five README-reading suites pass — 41 tests: runtimeClaims, readmeFrames, landingHeroContent, landingInstallCopy, llmsTxt.
Everything else from review 5625693771 stands at this head and I am not re-deriving it: the five harnesses, the claude mcp add block matching MCP_INTEGRATION.md:175-178, SELF_HOST_COMMAND's three steps, all 10 relative links and all 6 images resolving with alt text, Telegram/Slack/GitHub walked per the readiness matrix, and no free-plan claim to disagree with hostedCaps.
The harness list is still unguarded — adding a name to that sentence passes all of the above — and you have that queued as its own row, so I am not holding on it.
CI: 20 pass, 3 skipping, nothing pending or failed; mergeStateStatus CLEAN.
